Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Long Beach

This place needs to rebuild its staff the employees are always so rude & unpleasant if you don’t like your job why continue to clock in I truly don’t understand, whoever the older Spanish lady is working the night shift tonight was very rude & made me feel discriminated I usually always order through the window at night because I live right next door & the manager guy understood that when I explained it to him I know it’s against policy but he understood my situation & still made a way to satisfy a potential customer but tonight I see this lady that I’ve never seen before she was apparently the manager I kept trying to explain her to that I often visit here around the same time & that I live right next door same thing I explained to the gentleman but this lady was blatantly ignoring me not even trying to acknowledge me, literal moments later a Spanish couple approached the window & got her attention they proceeded to have a conversation with her in Spanish & she continued to assist them that made me feel really bad as a black person because all I truly wanted her to do was hear me out & at least consider it even if her overall answer was still NO it would’ve been better then feeling like I was being ignored for being black & not being a Spanish speaker & I was dressed pretty nice with my umbrella so she can’t say she assumed I was a homeless person she didn’t even want to open the drive thru window when she seen me almost as if she was scared of me or something but when the Spanish couple approached she treated them well & didn’t brush them off like trash honestly I am truly disappointed and lost for words. For me to be a local and now I’m considering on never coming back here really says a lot & I really hope something is done about situation so that it never happens again or gets worse! The higher ups need to see this contact cooperate...

Jack in the Box in Long Beach on 10th here's an awesome place I have gone there so many times even when I was in school long before I graduated and they always make my knees I can sit in their parking lot in Loosely and study as well as eat the food and that was always awesome to me I'm down the street from my doctor's office to laugh out loud I've gone to other Jack in the boxes the one on Crenshaw and West Manchester in Los Angeles it's an interesting place the people there there's a semi friendly but they're not like the one in Long Beach but I still order from Jack In The Box they don't get my order messed up when I go to the one in Los Angeles and I have set their on occasions just to taking the view and write notes sometimes it's a good place just to sit when I'm riding notes because I be putting music together the Jack in the Box have always been a place that I've gone to even when I was in San Diego I would go to Jack In The Box and they used to have that secret sauce way back in the day for those of us who remember those days which they don't put the secret sauce out there anymore and I think that's awful another thing some other staff members I consider is not on point because they are not as attentive to the customers that they should be and let's face it the customers are the ones who bring the business. However Jack in the Box is still somewhat number one in my book Jack has been around a long time and with these interesting days we have gone through over the years I hope Jack stay around even longer I have gone to Jack In The Box when I'm traveling especially when I'm driving going out of state or coming in States I always try to find me a Jack In The Box "thank you Jack in the Box" for being around for so long. The element that made my visit wonderful (which is unusual in a fast food drive through!) was the ladies who worked there. I was there around 10am. on Saturday, February 3rd. Someone should look up the schedule and see what two ladies were working the drive through. They were warm, friendly, personable, and working harder than they should have been.

The speaker for ordering was broken and had been for three days. There was a sweet older lady out there busting butt to take our orders and relay them to the cashier. It's ridiculous that corporate hadn't sent someone out to fix it!

The day prior, I had pulled in to get a snack and sat in an unmoving line for so long I just turned around and left. The staff said many people did that because ordering took so much longer.
