Popis has recently changed their recipe. A month ago, my daughter and I got our usual strawberry milk popsicle. The flavor and texture were off. Tasted like fake milk powder with a faint rotten strawberry taste.
Today, we gave them another chance. This time, I got my daughter the water-based strawberry popsicle, and I got the lime one. Both disappointing. The "strawberry" popsicle barely tasted of the fruit, and the flavor was mostly sugar water, with a lot of food coloring. The lime popsicle wasn't any better. It had a faint lime flavor.
I hope Popis paleteria goes back to their original recipe, the one that used to have real fruit and plenty of it. If the price needs to go up, so be it. I just want the same quality I grew up with.

Here you will find the best paletas in LBC You know when the paletero comes around we end up chasing him to get one or two and then it turn out you don't know what to get with so many choices. But here you can get them all and take them home a for a fraction of the price then a regular paletero.
Anyway the prices aren't to bad for those delicious paletas.
Everytime I am in the area i like to buy a few boxes for home. So next time when is hot and you're craving a paleta you have it available.
