Arturo’s Tacos — Restaurant in Long Beach

I really wanted to like this place! I drove past a few times and the flashy neon sign mentioned carnitas, so I had it in my mind to go there when I'm craving a carnitas burrito. although the woman that took my order didn't seem to be very friendly, she was efficient and my burrito was ready within 1 minute. they had a small serve yourself salsa bar with a green, red and a very watery guacasalsa. I didn't love any of them, but I've definitely had worse. the green was very standard tomatillo salsa. can't go wrong there if that's what you're into. I would probably try the red sauce again, but it wasn't nearly as spicy as I would have preferred. the carnitas itself wasn't bad tasting, but the burrito was 80% rice which I was not a fan of. the rice was also a neon orange which I also thought was a little bizarre. the burrito was the only thing I ate yesterday and I woke up with a case of Montezuma's revenge and threw up a couple times. I'm not 100% positive there's a correlation as there's a bug going around, but don't seem to have any symptoms other than that. I will probably not return. Sorry for not taking pictures. First (but definitely Not the last time) my fam and I have been there... the food was really good. By far the best tacos de cabesa that I have had... the torta was bomb... they also have champurado and I was Pleasantly surprised with it, it was so good not to sweet or hot but just right... I would definitely going back and would recommend this place to my friends...

This place has really delicious tacos. I don’t really get tacos because I’m not a taco guy, I prefer burritos but the tacos here are really bomb( amazing ).
