please note this is an honest opinion coming from someone with a disability, thus forming my own personal opinion from my experience. *
Steelcraft LBC is such a nice little neighborhood hangout with a good variety of food options and ample seating. If your lucky to find parking on property there are a few spaces available but also have a large lot across the way. For an able bodied person I'd say this place was an ideal spot to grab a beer, eat and conversations with friends , however for a disabled person like myself it may fall short for you.
Being a person who spends most of her time between a wheelchair and a cane if going short distances it can honestly be a little upsetting when you find places that are ada but not fully wheelchair friendly. Unfortunately due to my specific needs finding a place to sit that's low top to accomodat my wheelchair wasn't an option since the layout uses picnic tables and has narrow spacing. I Unfortunately would not have had space to comfortably sit in my chair and enjoy my food with my partner but luckily I came prepared and switched to my cane since I'd hardly be walking. We did wait about 15mins for a picnic table to open up which wasn't an issue as we were in no rush but the limited seating for us with limited abilities may cause one not to linger. Despite the lack of wheelchair space for dining actually getting around was fairly easy.
Steelcraft is very clean, well kept and had a great variety to choose from. This day we tried a little from everywhere and I was pleasantly surprised. Each place had excellent customer service, great tasting food and prepared well. They also had an info board to keep you up to date about fun activities that take place there as well. Tuesdays are trivia nights and live music on the weekend set the tone for an amazing week ahead.
Despite my minor inconvenience with my accessibility concerns I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back here as a regular. I visited on a Monday so it wasn't too busy crowd wise, just I did notice it looked like people unwind here and work which could also take up space for a prolonged time. But who wouldn't want this to be their go to spot. The atmosphere is amazing, it's not loud or rowdy and has a little something for everyone. Although my wheelchair didn't workout with the limited space I was still able to enjoy myself. The limited space may also come as an inconvenience to those parents with young ones in strollers as well so please be aware when it comes to finding a space to sit.
Overall this is an amazing place that would have 5 stars if ada seating was an added option, but that won't stop me...
Read moreThis is a great modern, low budget, yet very hip place. I love the recycled shipping containers, which are used to create a really cool... food court, essentially, but their web page calls it "Urban Eating". Ive tried something from the below vendors who make this place so desirable.
The Pig -
Mac and Cheese Burger: Really good buger patty. Decent Toppings. Really good mac and cheese. BUT, I feel that replacing the Bun with fired mac and cheese doesn't cut it. Very messy and super annoying. If they do special orders, I would ask for the fried mac and cheese to be treated like a topping and having a regular bun.
The Porkie A Strong BBQ pulled pork. Not the best Ive had, but definitely can run with the big dogs. Also very bias for anything sandwich or burger with an egg on it.
Desanos Pizza
Divalo Best meat choice. But be warned, there are very spicy red peppers that might just look like a pepperoni or slice of salami.
??? Ok so I dont remember what this pizza was called. But its the one with artichokes. My girlfriend Ordered it. So I only got to try it as a left over, but Damn! Really good, even cold!! Can't wait to order it fresh.
Tajima
[Service] This is the main reason I'll be choosing one of the other options. (It was a friday night) Ordering was super slow and very unprofessional, the line that was only 6 deep which isn't that bad on a Friday night, but I lost about 45 mins of good quality friend time cause I was waiting just to place my order. Once I got to the window to order, the Cashier/Order Taker didn't even acknowledge me as I walked up to the window. And then started getting involved with issues she didn't need to be apart of. Which taught me why the line. was so slow... A note to them- If she would of knocked out the orders at a normal rate, or at least apologized for the wait or asked for a moment or 2 during the process. I wouldn't have minded so much. But all I received was a, "What can I get you?" After standing in front of her patiently waiting for her to acknowledge my presence.
Tajima Ramen Noodels Really good Ramen. Not the best I had, but Im no expert, when it come to Ramen...hell Im not even a journey man for that sake! Enjoyed it tho! The Meat was exceptional!
Smog City Brewing Decent Brewers. Great selection if you like IPAs, unfortunately for me Im not the biggest fan. They do have a good Pilsner, and their nitrogen infused version is pretty good too. The Amber Honey is alot like New Castle. The Wiskey Infused brew they serve is intense! I dont remember the name, and thats probably because of its Alcohol content of 12%, Hope you like sipping cause 1 will be all you...

When placing my order, I asked the cashier, Vanessa, for a Margherita pizza with pepperoni on one half. She told me they couldn’t do half toppings and that I’d have to add pepperoni to the whole pizza — not a big deal, so I agreed. I also ordered focaccia bread and a soda. The total, including tip, came out to $35.14, which felt steep considering the quality we received. When our order was ready, I picked it up and brought it back to our table. Right away, my wife and I noticed that the focaccia bread looked and felt more like a dry, overcooked pizza crust. It was hard, overly salty, and had a stale taste. The marinara sauce served with it tasted oddly like ketchup — not something we expected. The pizza itself was soggy, poorly made, and didn’t resemble a Margherita pizza at all. It was their own spin on the classic, but not in a good way. We each took one bite and immediately agreed that it wasn’t edible. I went back to the counter to explain the issue and asked for a refund. Vanessa took the food, showed it to her colleagues, and offered to remake something. However, after the initial experience, we didn’t want to try anything else and politely declined. She then informed me that refunds weren’t possible and handed me a business card to email or call someone instead. When I asked for the manager’s name, she claimed she didn’t know who the manager was — which was incredibly frustrating. There was no manager on site, no accountability, and no way to resolve the issue in the moment. In the end, we walked away $35 lighter and still hungry, having to find dinner elsewhere. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warranted one. I would not recommend Elios Wood Fire Pizza — the food was subpar, the service unhelpful, and the lack of any managerial presence or customer resolution process is...
