The Kickin' Crab Long Beach — Restaurant in Long Beach

The food was great, but you’re better off getting it Togo because you will receive subpar service. It might of just been who the Thursday night crew was, but it seemed like all the rookies were lumped together. There was absolutely no sense of urgency and we were told “we’ll be with you when we can.” When we were initially sat though it was not busy lol. The three servers on the floor were all more focused on the togos rather than their customers in the restaurant. It’s like they were trying to do everything but serve their tables. Another patron even sat himself because the host/server told him she’d clean a table off for him and never did until after he notified another team that he was going to sit himself because he’d been waiting 15 minutes. We even had to go up to the register and ask for the check because after making eye contact with our server and another member on the floor, We were not acknowledged or given our checks. Crayfish and shrimp was decent but my sister and I was so disappointed with the service. They didn't offer lime/lemon with salt and pepper after we ordered. Even after that they didn't check up on us... like hello we are eating and drinking. Expect us to get up and get drinks ourself? I shouldn't have to wave hand to call for someone. Mind you this is near closing hours so it isn't busy. Near $70 for bad service and never have we ever left without leaving a tip. We will NOT be going back. We rather take a hour drive to another kickin crab than this one.

Waited 20 minutes in my car they sent a text saying my order was ready. The lady says she’s going to check on my order waited another 10 minutes she never comes back, and another person comes and gets my food that has just been sitting there. They refused to even reheat the food up. So I got a refund on the items that were cold not too mention the fries that I didn’t order and were charged for. Then the manager I asked for his name an he says they call me Mike I don’t believe that. He smirks an tells me I’ll see my money in 5-7 days an walked away. I advise people not to eat at this location the customer service was horrible and he has no explanation as to why the girl said she was going to check on the order an it was right there the whole time.
