Read moreI recently went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Immediately upon arrival my group of 3 was seated outside despite it being a Saturday night and it being quite busy, which was a plus. Within five minutes of being seated, our waitress greeted us and we placed our orders for both drinks and food. We had ordered a Bloody Mary, the tequila bucket, and a spicy spritz to drink. For food we ordered the shrimp tempura roll, calamari, the Cajun chicken rigatoni, and the burger. Our waters came out fairly quickly and so did the food. The first to arrive was the calamari which we received within 10 minutes of ordering. At this time, we had yet to receive any cutlery, napkins, or plates. When we began eating the calamari, we noticed it was rubbery, cold, and seemed as though it was frozen and microwaved. We were extremely disappointed in the taste and only ate about half the plate between the three of us. The shrimp tempura roll came out next and my two other guests ate it. They stated it tasted funky as if the shrimp had freezer burn. About 15 minutes later our mains came out. We still had yet to receive cutlery and so we requested it from the waitress and she promptly brought it out. The pasta was subpar, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible. It was basically a chicken Alfredo which didn’t seem as advertised and the chicken lacked flavor. The burger, as showcased in the photo above came with cheese, a patty, and bacon jam. As you can see the burger lacked bacon jam and the amount was ridiculous for the price that we would be paying. We mentioned it to the server and showed her the amount. She stated that that wasn’t right and she would be back. The guest who ordered the burger ordered it medium and mentioned that it was raw, the inside was pink. At this point about 15 minutes had passed since we ordered the burger and a food runner brought out a small container of congealed, cold bacon jam. The guest who ordered the burger was very disappointed and mentioned to the waitress that it seemed raw to which she removed it from the check. Overall the view was nice, the food came out quick, and the waitress was kind but the price for this food is actually ridiculous for the way it was presented and tastes. I know I can get better food at any diner and it be a quarter of the price. There are so many better restaurants in the area and I highly recommend checking out those spots before ever coming here. They really need to focus on quality control, unless all meals taste like this. I was extremely disappointed and definitely won’t be back. Server was...
Read moreWorst dining experience I’ve ever had. Rude service, rushing us the whole time. For reference we left 30 minutes after sitting down. That’s how much they rushed us. Told us we can still order food, kitchen will be ordering soon, but bar will be open for a while after so we would be able to sit and enjoy what we order, without them closing anytime soon.
As soon as we sat down the same person that said all that came asking for orders. Exactly the minute we sat down. They then brought out my husband’s dinner first and then had me sitting there 15 minutes waiting for mine ?? As if that’s normal Also didn’t even bring us water or anything when we sat. I guess that’s something you have to request yourself. See the picture for the amazing plate of bread/wipes/lemon?. That’s exactly how we received it. First time I see food thrown in a bowl like that with non-edible things like cleaning wipes and sticks. ALSO that bread was EXTREMELY STALE like a rock. I broke one in half and it literally snapped like a cracker.
She proceeded to tell us bar is closing 10 minutes after receiving the food. We asked “didn’t you say your bar would be open for a while and we can enjoy that?” She said “yeah well thats what the bar just told me sooo..” so after that she dropped the check couple minutes later.
And as for the food, I would not recommend that bowl they have on the “chef’s specials”. It was not a bowl first off, it was a plate that looked like they just threw everything on there. And then the CRAB was not even real crab. It was imitation crab!! You know those white/orange strips? Yeah those. All the seafood on that plate tasted exactly the same: like nothingness. So bland. It was supposed to be a bunch of different seafood like crab, salmon, tuna and whatnot, yeah I couldn’t tell the different at all. Nothing tasted like anything. We got a lobster sushi roll, yeah I wouldn’t even know that was lobster if I hadn’t ordered it. It had no flavor again. It tasted like any normal crab sushi roll, since they usually use the fake kind. At least the rest of the roll had a taste, specifically the spicy mayo sauce on top, but that’s about it. Just your regular mediocre sushi roll u could find anywhere, definitely not lobster, but that’s on me, I shouldn’t have gone with lobster.
I’ll take the blame for the whole evening. As soon as we got there and saw how they were treating us and rushing us, we should’ve gotten up and left. I’ve definitely...
