I recently went to this restaurant on a Saturday evening. Immediately upon arrival my group of 3 was seated outside despite it being a Saturday night and it being quite busy, which was a plus. Within five minutes of being seated, our waitress greeted us and we placed our orders for both drinks and food. We had ordered a Bloody Mary, the tequila bucket, and a spicy spritz to drink. For food we ordered the shrimp tempura roll, calamari, the Cajun chicken rigatoni, and the burger. Our waters came out fairly quickly and so did the food. The first to arrive was the calamari which we received within 10 minutes of ordering. At this time, we had yet to receive any cutlery, napkins, or plates. When we began eating the calamari, we noticed it was rubbery, cold, and seemed as though it was frozen and microwaved. We were extremely disappointed in the taste and only ate about half the plate between the three of us. The shrimp tempura roll came out next and my two other guests ate it. They stated it tasted funky as if the shrimp had freezer burn. About 15 minutes later our mains came out. We still had yet to receive cutlery and so we requested it from the waitress and she promptly brought it out. The pasta was subpar, it wasn’t great but it wasn’t horrible. It was basically a chicken Alfredo which didn’t seem as advertised and the chicken lacked flavor. The burger, as showcased in the photo above came with cheese, a patty, and bacon jam. As you can see the burger lacked bacon jam and the amount was ridiculous for the price that we would be paying. We mentioned it to the server and showed her the amount. She stated that that wasn’t right and she would be back. The guest who ordered the burger ordered it medium and mentioned that it was raw, the inside was pink. At this point about 15 minutes had passed since we ordered the burger and a food runner brought out a small container of congealed, cold bacon jam. The guest who ordered the burger was very disappointed and mentioned to the waitress that it seemed raw to which she removed it from the check. Overall the view was nice, the food came out quick, and the waitress was kind but the price for this food is actually ridiculous for the way it was presented and tastes. I know I can get better food at any diner and it be a quarter of the price. There are so many better restaurants in the area and I highly recommend checking out those spots before ever coming here. They really need to focus on quality control, unless all meals taste like this. I was extremely disappointed and definitely won’t be back. Server was great though.

I cannot recommend McLoone's Pier House enough! My now-husband and I had a tough time when we initially searched for wedding venues. We knew we wanted a beach wedding with hotel options nearby, but found the options within our price point very limiting. Upon entering McLoone's, it felt light and open and was truly a beachy venue. We did not want to think about rain, but other venues often offered indoor ceremony options in a back room with no windows, while McLoone's still felt like we were on the beach! Looking at the pricing, especially in relation to the quality and quantity of food, it was a no-brainer! From our first visit, the entire staff was gracious and helped us feel comfortable and confident in our decision. Rachel answered so many questions via email, was extremely organized, and made clear exactly what we needed to do and when, to ensure that everything was all set before the big day. She and the team did a fantastic job getting everything set up to make my exact vision for the venue come to life! The decorations were set up to perfection and I loved everything about it! On the day of our wedding, the entire staff was amazing. Everyone was kind, attentive, and excited for us! We have to shout out the maitre d' Nelson- he was amazing! He coordinated plates of food for us while we got ready for the ceremony so we did not have to deal with a hangry groom situation. I realized right before we walked down the aisle that an item we were using for our ceremony was missing. He coordinated to have it brought in without anyone (me included!) even noticing when it happened! Throughout the night he checked in on us, and was watching the radar so closely that he notified our photographer when we needed to go outside for some couple's photos so we would miss the rain. Thank goodness he did, as a huge thunderstorm rolled in just a few minutes after we got back! The food was amazing, everyone was raving about it- we definitely recommend the surf and turf option!! Even the next day, the staff packed everything up nicely for us and made pick-up so easy. I wish we could relive wedding day and we can't wait to go back to visit on our anniversary! Thank you everyone!

Our family of 5 went to the Easter Dinner for a 7pm reservation. Expecting a clean, professional and delicious experience for $45 a person, our family was incredibly disappointed. Last seating was at 8pm- we had a 7pm reservation. As we went up to get a plate to begin our meal, it was not hard to miss food that was all over the tables for the buffet stations as well as the floors. We were in an atmosphere of workers “running” the buffet and instead of lifting up the tray covers that were covered? They stood behind and were on their cellphones goofing off. As we practically served ourselves, we noticed that many of the trays of food were empty. With disappointment, we moved onto the raw bar and there were three pieces of shrimp. We asked someone if this would be refilled, and she angrily said no. We asked another employee for the manager, and he replied that he was the manager, but not the manager, not sure what that means. Then, we went to the carving station, and there was absolutely scraps left so we asked the person working the station if there would be more and they again said no that’s it for the night. It was 7 PM. This was a horrible experience, and the operation was filthy. From a background with restaurant experience, I was absolutely appalled. There were at least five different utensils in some of the salad areas, clearly meaning that other people put their utensils in there. For some of the sauces, there were toothpicks stuck in them. Disgusting and UNACCEPTABLE. If you are going to have a buffet all day, you need to maintain it with cleanliness and higher workers that actually work to make a better experience for guests. If you seat people at 7, there needs to be food at 7…. What a waste of money.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Rude service, rushing us the whole time. For reference we left 30 minutes after sitting down. That’s how much they rushed us. Told us we can still order food, kitchen will be ordering soon, but bar will be open for a while after so we would be able to sit and enjoy what we order, without them closing anytime soon.

As soon as we sat down the same person that said all that came asking for orders. Exactly the minute we sat down. They then brought out my husband’s dinner first and then had me sitting there 15 minutes waiting for mine ?? As if that’s normal Also didn’t even bring us water or anything when we sat. I guess that’s something you have to request yourself. See the picture for the amazing plate of bread/wipes/lemon?. That’s exactly how we received it. First time I see food thrown in a bowl like that with non-edible things like cleaning wipes and sticks. ALSO that bread was EXTREMELY STALE like a rock. I broke one in half and it literally snapped like a cracker.

She proceeded to tell us bar is closing 10 minutes after receiving the food. We asked “didn’t you say your bar would be open for a while and we can enjoy that?” She said “yeah well thats what the bar just told me sooo..” so after that she dropped the check couple minutes later.

And as for the food, I would not recommend that bowl they have on the “chef’s specials”. It was not a bowl first off, it was a plate that looked like they just threw everything on there. And then the CRAB was not even real crab. It was imitation crab!! You know those white/orange strips? Yeah those. All the seafood on that plate tasted exactly the same: like nothingness. So bland. It was supposed to be a bunch of different seafood like crab, salmon, tuna and whatnot, yeah I couldn’t tell the different at all. Nothing tasted like anything. We got a lobster sushi roll, yeah I wouldn’t even know that was lobster if I hadn’t ordered it. It had no flavor again. It tasted like any normal crab sushi roll, since they usually use the fake kind. At least the rest of the roll had a taste, specifically the spicy mayo sauce on top, but that’s about it. Just your regular mediocre sushi roll u could find anywhere, definitely not lobster, but that’s on me, I shouldn’t have gone with lobster.

I’ll take the blame for the whole evening. As soon as we got there and saw how they were treating us and rushing us, we should’ve gotten up and left. I’ve definitely...
