Stopped into Jimmy John's the other day for a quick sandwich, and that we hadn't been in this store before. The place was clean and bright, with several eager persons behind the counter. My partner ordered the veggie club, and me the Beach Club. As I finished ordering, my partner remembered she wanted just to go easy on the mayo. "I'm sorry, the sandwich is finished," stated the order taker with a flair of finality. Really? In the span of 15 seconds while I was ordering, my partner's order was done? They were all pretty smug that they got done so fast.
The bun bread was pretty uninspiring.... white, tough, and rather bland. The filling was pretty good, with crisp lettuce and cucumbers, nice tomato slices, and good slice of provolone. The turkey was OK on mine, along with a very thin layer of avocado spread. My partner's club was identical to mine sans the turkey. Mine could have used a bit more mayo, my partner's a little less. But, alas, it was too late. No last minute changes. The store brand chips were actually pretty good, which kind of saved the whole meal experience.
On the overall, it was just an OK experience. Just a word of caution: get your order right the first time it comes out your mouth. You won't get a chance to change it 15...

Update: the owner emailed me about a month or 2 ago and he has resolved the issue by giving me a credit basically for a free sub. This was a bit ago so hopefully it'll still be valid when i go in to get it when i'm in a sub mood.
Update: The below issue has not been resolved someone emailed me asking if it was and i said it wasn't and that was it. i don't know maybe they'll reply?
anyway I decided to give this place another chance , this time i ordered delivery. It came pretty fast but I was again disappointed. I ordered a Turkey Tom, I asked for lite mayo and Im not sure if they saw it as extra but there was extra mayo on it. SO much mayo i pretty much couldn't eat it. ugh.
First time ever at this location....I ordered a 8 inch original combo with a vito , pickle and drink for 10.99 in store....
why was my bill 14.09?? if you add the tax for 10.99 its about .87 so they charged me an additional 2.23?? why?
what was also funny is i was going to get it delivered but it was 14.55 for delivery ... i'm confused

When they say you receive your food freakishly fast they really mean it!! Hehe They have excellent gourmet sandwiches & at very reasonable prices too!!๐โบ๐
Very friendly staff & they usually get my sandwich done before I've even finished paying for it. ๐ The store always smells heavenly of fresh baked bread & the smells are free....lol๐
I've only tried about 4 different sandwiches so far & every single one was very tasty & quite filling. I really enjoy they're variety of chips too but my favorite is the large soft cookies they sell too for desert!! A fairly normal variety of drinks too but my fav is the lemonade!!๐
The store has been spotlessly clean including the restrooms every time i visit.๐
They play great music too so your comfy while you eat at either their tables or booths. Oh yea & there's fun signs to read all around too!!๐
