Moved from California where we have great pizza . Iāve been so disappointed in pizza in Longview as itās nothing to brag about at all .After trying all the pizza places I think my favorite is this establishment for pizza . I love New York style pizza . the crust is good. The pepperoni lacks as you only get three pieces per slice . I would suggest ordering extra pepperoni. The sauce is a little in the sweet side so itās ok for pizza but would never want it for pasta this sweet . We came back a second time to try some other foods besides pizza . We order same pizza as last time. A Italian sub sandwich and a chicken calzone .The chicken is by far the worst chicken meat I have ever tasted I think itās frozen pressed rib meat to make it look like chicken breast slices . The smoky flavor it had did not speak Italian to me at all . The sauce still to sweet for my liking .The calzone bread was good but cheese inside was hard and tomatoes were still under cooked for my liking also . Subway sandwich was good but for a cold sandwich I donāt like toasted bread . Rather have hot meat with toasted bread and cold meat non hot bread . Itās. A pretty good place for pizza . Staff is very nice and very welcoming . My suggestion would be use real chicken thatās not smoky and taste like a meatloaf chicken . Use more Pepperoni to give pizza even more greasy flavor . Less sugar in sauce . I still give it a 8 out of 10 . For pizza only So far other items didnāt impress me at all . I have not tried pasta but after tasting the sweetness of the sauce I have to pass cause I like my pasta to taste more savory then sweet . I would recommend the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUntil yesterday, I had never eaten at this place, but had driven past it over the last few years. I decided to give it a try.
This place did not disappoint.
Now Iām sure that most people go there for their pizzas, but I was looking for pasta and chicken. I knew I was in the right spot when the gentleman that answered the phone said when I asked him āhow much sauce do you put on your pasta?ā he responded with, āwe treat you like youāre over at Nonaās house!ā
And he was 100% right!
I ordered one of their bowls with the fajita chicken, pasta, and the Alfredo sauce and it was absolutely delicious! I also want to add that the prices are about $5-$6 dollars cheaper than most of the pasta plates at the local Olive Garden, which is commercial Italian food.
This place is serving up Independent business owned Italian food that is amazing so frankly thereās no comparison.
If you are living in the Longview area or even the surrounding communities and counties and you want good Italian food, you need to go to this place.
I want to go back there soon, so I can try one of their pizzas which Iām sure are out...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIncredibly disappointed. Tried to make an order at 1:30pm on a Saturday. Took the time to look over the menu online for the longview store. Called in the order and literally 3 of the 4 items I attempted to order were "unavailable". Why bother posting a menu if you have no intention of making the product?
Now the food: I got a 14" Philly connection. I would say the flavor was average. However, it's a quality issue that I have really. I remember this place from a few years ago it's been a while since I've been back but these guys are not New York guys. I don't believe this place is owned by the same people anymore. You can tell that they have cut the quality to save the money. They didn't cut the price just the quality. I also got a cannoli, it was probably the stalest cannoli I've ever had. I've actually gotten better quality cannolis from those fill them yourself kits that are in grocery stores on the shelves packed with preservatives. I'm sure it's no big loss to them because they had a lot of people there who apparently don't really care about quality just tradition, so they won't miss me but I...
