READ ABOUT UPDATED VISIT. WORTH THE READ TO LEARN ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT
If you love dinner and a show I recommend you visit Fuji Revolving Sushi Bar. Easy access & plenty of parking, since it's located near Costco. They have numerous menu items to choose, ranging from soups to single item plates to full dinners. And, in this reporters opinion, it's all good no it's XLNT. I will admit I always order the same thing BUT, if one dish is great shouldn't everything be delicious? My first visit was a while back & I forgot to rate, but now I'm on it. We were greeted upon arrival with a big smile by the knife yielding sushi king but we've also been met at the door by a delightful host/server. I usually like booths when dining out but, here, I wanted the counter. WHY? Because they have, as advertised in their name, a revolving sushi bar. It's like a train of covered food that doesn't stop....not ever. It's so mesmerizing, watching a nonstop variety of plated sushi travel around the restaurant and pass by every seat at the counter & each of their booths. I also believe I've seen a couple desserts tucked in between the large variety of finger food items aka sushi. If you don't find what you like remember that knife yielding sushi king I mentioned? He's right there ready to slice, dice and roll up your selection from the menu. It's also a child friendly place to eat. The one place kids won't leave their seats but remain visually entertained during dinner. You won't leave hungry.
UPDATED REVIEW
Recently visited prior to a live performance. The restaurant was quite full and we weren't sure about timing. I advised receptionist/server about our time and needed to be out the door within 45 mins. He checked with kitchen and came back and said I'll take your order and if you pay before it'll be faster when you're done. We paid & tipped and within 8mins our meal was sitting in front of us. We had a comfortable time to eat and made it out the door withing 40mins. Restaurants which make the effort to accomodate their customers should be acknowledged in an open forum such as this. In my opinion they still deserve their 5 stars.
Hey Fuji Revolving Sushi Bar, how about a shout out to me for my review? We are...
Read moreI have been going to Fuji sushi for years and have always had a wonderful experience. However, last night, I was very disappointed not only with the food but with the customer service. I arrived at 6:30p and was seated at a booth while waiting for my friends who were visiting from out of town to join. They arrived at 6:40p and we began grabbing plates from the revolving belt.
It was obvious that the selection had been on the belt for a while because the avocados had turned brown on some rolls and the crunch on the crunch rolls was soggy. We assumed fresh rolls would be added so we waited and ate what we could from the selection.
After about 20mins I asked the waitress about any new rolls coming out because the belt was pretty empty and we’d seen the same few rolls go around a bunch of times. She let us know that a couple of large orders had been put in as to-go orders and after they finished making those they would add more food to the belt. So we waited.
After another 20min or so we asked again. By this time she said they were getting close to closing and there wouldn’t be much new food added, but we could order from the menu if we wanted. It was around 7:30p.
I asked why she didn’t tell us that sooner or recommended we order from the menu rather than do the revolving sushi option and wait for over 40min for food that wasn’t coming. I asked if there was anything that she could do as we had been there for an hour and had eaten rolls from the belt expecting it to be refreshed and were disappointed by the quality. She said there was nothing she could do and asked if I’d like to pay now.
I explained that the rolls were old and the avocado had turned brown. She said she knew, she had seen them.
I asked again if there was a small discount or something she could do as the food quality was very disappointing and we had planned on eating more from the belt and told to wait but the food never came. I asked if she could ask the manager.
She left and came back and again said there was nothing she could do and if I’d like the check.
The lack of care or customer service was very surprising. Even a small gesture to show they valued our business at all or were apologetic about the lack of fresh food or long wait times would have saved the situation, but that never came.
We left still hungry and very disappointed after paying over $70 for old sushi that shouldn’t have even been...
Read moreFood is excellent. But the service was absolutely awful. I went with a small group. Three adults, three kids. We processed to eat a bit of food. They stopped making the sushi and began to stare at our table trying to get us to leave. Awful and extremely rude. Your a restaurant your job is to make food for the customers. It wasn’t just us affected by this. There were three other sets of people on out side of the restaurant who were affected by this rude behavior. Don’t go in thinking your going to eat what ever you want. They will cut you off and the rest of the restaurant when they feel you have had enough. And it was t a lot for three adults...
