We LOVE pizza and we are in search for the best pizza place in town. This place rates as one of our favorites. The atmosphere is great, the staff are super friendly and helpful. We started with a Caesar salad and thank goodness we did as it took 30 minutes to get our pizza. This place is BUSY! The salad was delicious. The lettuce was fresh and not the bagged, full of preservative type! The cheese crisps are insanely good! Be sure to ask for extra! They should sell these by the bag! We each ordered our own pizza because they all sounded pretty good! The hubby got the Diavola pizza. This was a super yummy crust with tomato sauce, fior di latte (fresh mozarella) , parmigiano, hot Calabrese salami, Calabrian chili infused olive oil, and fresh basil. I threatened to get the mushroom pizza because he doesn't like mushrooms and didn't want to share but I was nice and went with the specialty pizza which was arugla and proscutto. I added burrata on the side and it just added SO much to the pizza. Drizzle a little chile oil and some balsamic vinegar and it was amazing. These are 12' pizzas and easy to share. I could not finish mine so I got a little help from my hubby. He loved them both! Great beers on tap! They have live music on weekends. Friendly atmosphere. They had to change their hours due to a staffing shortage (which is everywhere these days). It looks like they do a HUGE to go business so be kind and patient! They are working their butts off. I highly recommend they sell their pizza dough and parmesan crisps (croutons) separately! I know I would buy them and take them home. Can't wait to go back!

Wow! Amazing place! Let's start off by saying I will definitely be returning. It's a very cool setup and love the design Firstly. We did sit outside but the patio area is still great - pretty spacious, nice plants, and still got to enjoy the interior decor. We were welcomed right away and seated no problem. The waitress was great at making recommendations so for Appetizers we enjoyed the cheesy garlic bread and the meatballs. Both so tasty, flavorful, just great. The sauce is fire 🔥. I also ordered an iced latte, I believe pecan flavored (waitress surprised me) which was also great. The meatballs arrived in a dish filled with melted cheese on top and bathed in sauce. The meatballs were juicy and perfectly flavored, not overall salty, seasoned or breaded. And then there the pizza! Our group had the Margherita, Salami Piccante, and the Funghi. The best part is they ask if you'd like to add fresh burrata on top - yes please! And excellent choice. We all loved our pizza - that sauce again and the crust was to die for. It was so fresh and perfectly cooked and with the added burrata, I was in heaven. I also appreciated how the owner came to visit the table. You can sense his positive energy and genuine passion for his restaurant. As I touched on, the place is well decorated and welcoming and their branding is super cute. If you choose, they have merch available! All in all, I was extremely happy and going to make it a point to return often.

Hand Crafted Napoletana and New York Style Pizza in Los Alamitos, CA. Artisan wood-fired pizza from a real Italian brick oven creates the crispy crust with Napoletana style char and airy bubbles. The pizzas have a great texture with fresh ingredients that are full of flavor. I tried the Garlic Paradiso (Heaven): Fresh garlic, Italian spices, shredded mozzarella, Parmigiano, fresh basil and fresh rosemary. My husband had a New York-style pepperoni pizza which is a tasty blend of San Marzano Pomodori sauce, mozzarella & Parmigiano cheese and pepperoni, with a superb crust! I also had a Caesar salad made from fresh romaine, crisp house croutons, a house blend caesar dressing, and fresh shaved Parmigiano. If you are looking for outdoor dining & a place to connect with family or friends, this is the place. Fast friendly service in a happy atmosphere with music, a heated patio for the breezy evenings, and clean restrooms. While others enjoyed their wine and beer selections, I chose to top off with a steamed Italian cappuccino. Indoor dining is also open. Whoo-hoo! Next time, I will have to save room for the Strawberry Nutella with toasted marshmallow dessert pizza. It seemed to be a favorite take-out item. Perfect pizza made with Amore! I recommend their slice of Heaven-Garlic Paradiso.

I live in Washington state. I always come to Pietrini's when in SoCal. Whether a casual dinner or family/friend reunion, I make certain to stop and have some delicious food and to be around the incredibly hospitable staff. The prices you pay for authentic fresh food and an ambience of kindness and generosity is such a bargain! I was blessed enough to know the founders and to be part of their dream come true is the dessert(speaking of dessert the cannoli are the best!) The garlic pizza is our favorite! But everything is delicious, and I can't say enough about the staff. This is a great place for reunions because the staff set the tone and atmosphere as if you were part of one big Italian family!

Fairly certain this is the best pizza I have had in the United States. For context, I regularly work in 20+ states every year and try to find local pizza places when I can. The seemingly lost art of a well-made salad for under $20 is not lost here. The garlic bread was decadent, plus the marinara and ranch for dipping should be illegal it’s so good. The elote pizza (white sauce) and carne festa (red sauce) are ridiculous. Absolutely unfair to other pizzas. How am I supposed to go about my life having other pizzas now? I am confuddled and flabbergasted as to how this place exists with such high quality pizzas matched by equally high quality service. Sheeeeesh

There aren't many places in Orange County where you can eat a fairly authentic Neapolitan pizza without taking an extra mortgage... Pietrini uses real San Marzano tomatoes from the Vesuvius area, flour imported from Italy, fresh mozzarella (or burrata, if you want to try the "special" Margherita), and most importantly a Neapolitan-style wood-fired oven with its characteristic tiles. They also make New York-style pizza, if that's what you prefer. Try their gelato desserts at the end of your dinner: very good!
