We found 401K Food and Wine one night on the way home from the airport when we were exhausted and ravenous. What a gem.

This restaurant happens to be completely gluten-free but they don’t compromise on flavor or quality one bit. If you didn’t know it was gf, you wouldn’t be able to tell. Honestly. Pinky swear. You will not be disappointed. Especially if you like a good wine list.

While my daughter and I are gf, my husband is not. He’s taken several non-gf friends to eat there and they all loved it. We’ve been back multiple times, even though we live an hour+ away.

It’s run by the brains + talent behind Sinners & Saints bakery, which is two doors over. Sinners & Saints bakes both gluten-full (Sinners) and gluten-free (Saints) desserts. We always stop by here for something delish to take home.

Back to 401K. There is a cozy indoor seating area and a lovely outdoor space that feels like an upscale casual garden patio with a slight edge. My teen daughter recently commented how much she likes the aesthetic.

The food is delicious and satisfying. From the cheese plate to the squash blossoms to, well, everything. Desserts are amazing, as expected. We had the churros last time, even though we were stuffed full, and they were like eating sweet cinnamon clouds. Heaven.

If you’re gluten-free, gf curious or just a foodie, head over to 401K. Reservations recommended but we’ve been okay just popping by. Although I think that’s going to...

I came from Minnesota to try this restaurant and it did not disappoint! Coming from a place where good gluten free food is hard to come by 401K knocked it out of the park. I’ve never been to a place where I can order EVERYTHING on the menu. I had the mini corn dogs, focaccia, sliders, banana bread pudding, and churros. The menu doesn’t really make sense but it’s everything you miss most when you have celiac. The bread was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The sliders were plucked with flavor and the buns were soft and fluffy. The bread pudding was to die for! A perfectly balanced dessert. Lastly and my Favorite were the churros! they were so delicious and melted in my mouth.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, if you’re gluten free or not check out this gem.

Another plus is that they food & drinks are very reasonable priced. I would’ve spent more on this meal in MN.

The owner was also very personable, she chatted with every table, including ours. Such a lovely experience and we will be coming back every time...

I can’t say enough good things. This place absolutely blew my mind.

Rosemary Focaccia Bread: THE SOFTEST gluten free bread I have EVER had. Absolutely delicious.

Baked Mac and Cheese: Great. Solid Mac and cheese. Liked it but probably my least fav of everything just because everything was SO GOOD

Chicken and Waffles: The STAR of the show (although arguably the Rosemary focaccia was the co-star). So much flavor! The fried chicken was very flavorful and perfectly crispy. The waffles were everything they needed to be. And combined with the maple butter… next level!

Dulce de Leche Cake: The grand finale and it did not disappoint! So moist. The perfect balance of cake and filling and dulce de leche with a thin, soft chocolate top and hazelnuts on the side.

12/10 - I am absolutely obsessed and my only regret is that we didn’t go sooner.

TLDR; this place is life changing. Be sure to try the focaccia and the chicken and waffles (and dulce de...
