🙏🙏Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria🙏🙏
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria in North Hollywood, and I can't recommend it highly enough!
From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles, and I was immediately struck by the inviting decor that made the place feel like a cozy neighborhood pizzeria.
Customer Service
The standout aspect of my visit was the exceptional customer service provided by Stepan. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu. Stepan made great recommendations and ensured my dining experience was top-notch. His friendly demeanor really added to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
Food Quality
Now, let’s talk about the food. The Ajarakan was absolutely delicious! I ordered a classic Ajarakan and it was cooked to perfection. The crust was crispy yet chewy, the sauce was flavorful, and the cheese was perfectly melted. Each bite was a delightful experience. They also offer a variety of toppings and specialty pizzas, which I can’t wait to try on my next visit.
Conclusion
Overall, Big Mama's and Papa's Pizzeria is a must-visit in North Hollywood. With great food, excellent customer service from Stepan, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect spot for a casual meal or a night out with friends. I’ll definitely be...
Read moreI have avoided eating here because I figured they are just about making "stunt" pizza. They are notorious for making a 54 x 54 square pizza for party delivery.
But the fact is, they make a really good NY/NJ style pizza, with lavish amounts of toppings. You can get a single slice that is a whole meal for one, or maybe even two people if they are light eaters.
I got a veggie slice, (pictured, with a can of soda for scale) which was covered with mushrooms, red onions, garlic, green bell pepper, black olives, sliced tomato and pickled artichoke. My dining companion had a pesto chicken sub that could make most sub shops cower in shame.
We ended the meal with a cannoli, the Sicilian pastry made famous in The Godfather. At $6, it's a little overpriced. However, after a huge meal like this, splitting a cannoli is just enough.
My final thoughts: Mangia Mangia! And...
Read moreVery poor customer service. I walked in for the first time and was not acknowledged by an employee for a good 4-5 minutes even though I was 1 of 2 people in there. Once I was greeted, i asked what was good/popular and the cashier said "I don't know". Okay, moving on. I ordered my sandwich, which was a fair price, and waited. My food came out relatively quick, but evidently they put to-go sandwich orders in a plastic box UNWRAPPED. So half way out the door, my sandwich was all but put together, sliding around in said box. Once I was able to sit down and put it back together, it was good. Overall, this place could have received a much better rating from me if they just provided a little higher level of...
