I ordered through postmates. I can see when they update and when driver arrives. Total delivery time was about 20 mins for a large order. 3 eggs hash browns bacon, breakfast burrito, pancakes, coffee. Coffee was ediable. But that was about it. When I called the place first call was understandable the young lady on the phone nice. I explained food was not thoroughly cooked. Then they called back. Complaining that I was upset and it's a large order and how it effects them. Like ordering out isn't a luxury to start. Then they blamed the driver not understanding that the driver is not the cook. How is the driver responsible for undercooked food. Raw food practically. The hashbrowns were literally mostly raw. Everything was cold. Guess they don't have a heat lamp and packaging was not sanitary. But yes Blame the driver. I saw the while timing via the app. 20 mins. 10 to cook the food 10 to get to me. It was not late it was infact early.

I support local businesses which is why I picked this location to order from instead of other spots. But to receive RAW food and then have them blame the driver like they were the one that cooked the food. The food didn't just sit there that didn't make it RAW. It wasn't cold cause the driver took time to pick it up (they were prompt) it was cold cause it wasn't cooked throughly. But sure go off on the underpaid drivers.

Packaging is waxed box. That they store separately. Like that doesn't collect dust. Put some parchment paper in there some foil something. That's not sanitary. I work in hospitality. That would get them dinged with the health department. Also not sealed. Which is supposed to be standard.

Over all I would not be here if they didn't call back and complain and attempt to lecture me on me making a complaint to them. Not to uber. I did go back and file a claim with uber because of that which btw in the call back they said they would fight my complaint (I hadn't complained to uber at that point.) To lecture me when I told them the food was undercooked. Then blame the driver. The driver isn't your kitchen. They don't control raw hashbrowns and pancakes that aren't fully cooked.

Absolutely ridiculous to blame the driver for an issue with their kitchen. I get you're a small business. But I would have given this spot a second chance if not for that call back. The drivers make pennies compared to a brick and mortar spot. Blaming them for undercooked food. The absolute audacity.

The absolute disrespectful nature. I'll be supporting other small businesses...

Just went to get breakfast. The food is relatively good but very overpriced especially if you consider the small portions. We had the American breakfast and a plate with eggs, sliced tomatoes and bacon. We had two house coffees. This was $52.

The restaurant was completely empty. We were the only two clients in there. They sat us down pretty quickly, and got our order. The food came out and after that, we were completely forgotten. No one asked if our food came out correctly or if we needed anything else. We wanted water and tried to get the attention of our waitress who had gone to the back and left us alone in the restaurant. Then she came back and sat down to review some documents with what seemed to be another employee at the restaurant. We tried to see if they’d look over so we could ask for water but they did not. Eventually, another two employees showed up and we had to call their attention to ask for water. By the time we got the water, our plates were completely empty so we figured they’d take them and ask if we wanted something else or the check but no. The guy just left the water on the table and left. We were so confused. Ended up just having to get up and pay at the front for which thankfully they noticed us there and were more than happy to charge and ask for tip. Would’ve probably come back but given the lack of service it might be easier and cheaper to make myself...

This has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast or lunch! Food has always been amazing and they have many delicious options, whether I’m feeling like eating something sweet or savory. They also have many healthy options. My partner always gets the breakfast burrito and I like to try different items on the menu. My favorites are the breakfast burrito, the açaí bowl, the chicken pesto pasta and the Ecuadorian food on the weekends. So far I haven’t found any other place that serves Ecuadorian food in LA - so we were so excited when we found out. You can tell their food is fresh and well prepared. I’d also really recommend trying their coffee, as it’s never disappointed. They make fresh juices, so it’s nice to have that option too.

The staff is always super professional, friendly and accommodating to our requests. It’s a family owned restaurant, and you can see the team effort they make when serving you. Also, they recently renovated the space and it’s looking great, super cozy and a nice vibe!

I think an added value is that they have customer parking on-site, which is very rare for LA. It’s walking distance to the LACMA too.

Thank you for always making us feel at home, Cafe Fresco. Can’t wait...
