Waikiki Poke & Bento — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I recently ordered the Beef Teriyaki Bowl from Waikiki Poke & Bento, and I have to say, it was a big letdown. The dish I got was nothing like what they showed in their pictures. Instead of a tasty Beef Teriyaki Bowl, they gave me a bowl of brown rice with only 5-6 tiny pieces of beef. It was definitely not what I expected.

What's even worse is that the quality has gone downhill compared to my previous visits. The portion size was smaller, and they even raised the price from $11 to $13, which was disappointing. It's not just about the money, but the value for what I got wasn't good.

To make things worse, the taste was really bad. It left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth, which was not pleasant at all. The new owners of the restaurant haven't been able to keep up the good standards that were there before.

I want to warn others to be careful if they're thinking of eating at Waikiki Poke & Bento. The food quality isn't good, and based on my experience, I'm going to tell my co-workers not to go there for our lunches anymore. It's really disappointing, and I feel like they didn't deliver what they promised with their Beef Teriyaki Bowl.

Am currently bed ridden from bad fish they served me. Have been in bed for three days missing three days of work because of the terrible quality of fish they serve they mask it with the sauces they give you. I have lost 15lbs in the last 3 days, the only reason I gave it a one star is because it wouldn’t let me leave a review unless I did or it would get no stars at all. Completely messed my money up this week eating at this terrible place. Have used the bathroom more than 40 times since Tuesday. From the get go I should have understood that a C grading from the health department means something, I gave it a try and oh boy if I should have not.

The food where stored in the open, the temperature was comfortable for humans but definitely not for raw fish, rice or any other condiment. The serve was nice but overcharged two scoops of protein at 19 $ instead of 15.

I eat outside and the first bite was enough to regret it all. The flavor was not there ( I took the marinated tuna), rice was bland and I had not the courage to keep it in my mouth.
