I walked in and the security guard and the person who was suppose to behind the counter were at a table watching a video on the security guard's phone. I watched in and and looked at the menu and waited five minutes before being acknowledge. The place as outdated and old looking and nothing resembled fresh. And no, this is NOT the location they serve the specialty donuts with cereal and bacon and all that fun stuff. The real "California Donut" location is near Vermont on 3rd Street.

Great selection, nothing wrong with this location, but it's the people. There's these crazy religious people who scream into a microphone and it's unbearable to be in line there. I don't know if the store is doing anything about these loiterers but it's just better to go to the bakery up the street, away from the screaming

A nice, clean store with a pleasant atmosphere. A good selection of doughnuts. The coffee is really good too. A nice, friendly, helpful person working there. No indoor seating at this time. There is a limited amount of free parking in this shopping center.

this place is not related to the California Donuts in social media. look through the reviews and find legit pictures. I went there and was disappointed to see it was a regular donut shop and thought, oh well, while Im here lemmi pick up a couple of donuts. I saw a bunch of flies flying around and opted just to get one. The donut was fine, just didn't appreciate all those flies around the donuts. I also want to add that a lot of the positive reviews are either for the other California Donut, mentioning flavors that dont exist here such as the matcha flavor donut OR they are fake reviews. Read them yourself. The reviews are super general and talk about the place not being packed or a great atmosphere. You would NEVER expect this place to be packed and the atmosphere is awful. Ive came to this donut shop a few times already but today when I went All I asked was for a piece of paper and pen/ pencil and The guy was so rude to me he yelled at me and turned away headed to the back of the shop leaving m me at the counter surprised then he continues to yell out im busy leave me alone, costumer service is horrible and might as while say something about how sometimes my donut is still doughy which means it's not even cooked all the way through which I mean I try to ignore n still come here to give them the benefit of the doubt but I didn't deserve being yelled at or ignored all because I asked for a piece of paper and a pen he could've just said no n I would've been on about my day I recommend that you don't go here and plus it don't have no AC so It's really hot and...

Same. Went here one day thinking it was the REAL California Donuts. Very disappointing, until I realized that the real one is on 3rd Street. I am LOLing at the reviews. They are all the same with different accounts!! "The bill was fair" "Reminds me of a restaurant in (State) I loved" "Came in at 9 and it wasnt packed" And then the one about the famous director? Wow. Just wow. I cant imagine going through life being that stupid How they are able to have the same EXACT name as the authentic shop, WITH THE SAME LOGO, is beyond me....
