Carl's Jr. — Restaurant in Los Angeles

The food was not good. I got the double Western bacon cheeseburger as I really liked Burger King's rodeo burger and I thought it was going to be a better version of that. I was wrong as the burger was almost flavorless as the only flavor coming from the onion rings and the small amount of barbecue sauce. The service was also terrible as my brother entered the code for the bathroom wrong many times and it stopped working for a bit so when I went to ask for help the two guys are on their phones laughing at what they're showing each other, I said excuse me many times but they didn't respond until they saw me and when I told them my brother entered the code wrong and it stopped working, they just kept repeating the code number to me so I got frustrated and walked away, then the one guy with a stud earring came and entered the code no problem and he gave me the rudest stank face I have EVER received. After going to universal studios we decided to get carls jr, worse experience of my life! the afternoon manager had the worse attitude cussing at the employees in Spanish, she yelled at my friend when she asked a question, she didnt get my order right and everytime I was looking to the menu to see what to order she kept making noises of frustration and rollling her eyes! When it was my turn to get my food I heard her say "apurate ponle la hamburguesa para que se vayan los cabrones!" I understand Spanish she was cussing at us for been there. And now I have been throwing up since Saturday I went to the ER for my son and me because after eating there we ended up with fever, nausea vomiting and it stared about 1 hour after we ate here. We had to pull over in the grapevine to start throwing up, and today is Wednesday and we are still throwing up fever of 103.9 the ER stated its due to contaminated food or unsanitary hand washing. I hope they take action towards the manager WORSE experience in my life I will never recommend carls jr to...

Not sure why I give this Carl’s Jr location the benefit of the doubt the times I’ve come here through the drive-through. Let me be clear, the food is FINE - but whoever is running it at night does not have it under control.

Nearly a 20 to 25 minute wait in line and to top it all off, who ever is actually on the drive-through window… I know what you’re doing there. Let’s not try to fraud your drive-through service time just so you don’t get in trouble with your GM in the morning, okay? You’re not smart about it. Using a metal scraper against the floor to fake the actual service time is absolutely ridiculous.
