Very few things frustrate me like missing items and portion sizes at Chipotle but this is the second time I've had an unfortunate situation at this location and I'm inclined to believe this is just how they operate.
It is a very slow Wednesday night and I placed my order at 6:30 pm. Please explain to me why it's so difficult to ensure that every topping is included in the order when you have that much time to look at the receipt properly. Also, does this look like a bowl that has extra portions to you? Reminder that you don't get paid extra for skimping out on ingredients like it's your job to save it. This isn't a recession. We're not rationing food here. If I'm paying $13 for a bowl, I better damn see that the EXTRA portions I paid for are at least justified. God forbid I didn't order extra portions. How much more disappointed could I possibly be? Did I order a kid's bowl? My goodness.
I don't care if you’re new or if you’re slammed or you haven't been trained properly. If you're underserving your protein portions on top of everything else, then you best believe I'm taking to social media to call you out. LEARN HOW TO DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY.
Given the terrible reviews at this location, I guess I'm not surprised that they are running their business this way. What a shame considering they're in a prime...
Read moreI order through DoorDash at this location. I ordered the Quesadilla with Carnitas and guacamole sour cream and salsa. The item came pretty fast. But when it arrived the lid wasn’t even on top or fastened correctly. The bag wasn’t taped like it normally is because of COVID protocols. They didn’t include any of the sides, and you have to pay extra for the guacamole. There wasn’t any cheese on it. Hardly any meat too, and it was cooked so long that the tortilla was really hard. Because it was overcooked the meat was really dry and difficult to eat. So I couldn’t even really salvage that. The order is stuck on the bag, And the order is what I ordered so I know I didn’t get someone else’s meal. It seemed like they were just angry I ordered at 9:45 and made some thing way too quick and didn’t throw anything else in because they had closed the store condiments up and they didn’t want to box it up. This is hard when you do that to the consumer because driving companies get us about 5% back to make up for it but I was out the $13 and I’m still hungry. I think management needs to step back in for...
Read moreOk, here's the Gluten-free Low-Fat, Low-Salt, Vegan Chipotle Hack.... Ask for a veggie bowl: when they ask you which rice and which beans... You say; "NO RICE, NO BEANS" -- they will look at you confused coz they never heard this before ;) Now point at the fajitas mix of onions and peppers -- "Fill the bowl up with this" -- they will half full it up, so you have to encourage them to keep going, saying "that's all I'm getting, no rice, no beans, no meat, just fajitas please" with a smile :)
Top it off with tomatoes and sweetcorn, a blob of guacamole (or NO guac for super-low-fat-version;)
Now go home to your own 5minute rice, which you cooked up before you left the house, and left in the hot water... add a can of NO SALT lentils or black beans - mis the whole thing upppp and you have $10 Chipotle-XXL bid enough to feed a family, or one hungry High-Carb Low-Fat Low-Salt Vegan Athlete ;)
Eat with spoon outta a bowl big enoughhhh for a horse. AND/OR warm up some of your own soft corn tortillas (no gluten, 1fat each) and use the guacamole as your base foundation glue. Live happily...
