Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Here I go....I love Cold Stone and I do not pass any opportunity to stop buy for my favorite ice cream anywhere I see it, ever. However, from now on I will have to wait till I get a chance to go to a different location to eat my desert. I work near by this location on Vanowen st., so I happened to stop by there at least 3 times, and today was the changing point. I always felt the difference between other locations and it always felt off, not like usual, when it makes me want to go buy another one while I haven't even finished the one in my hands...This location on Vanowen St. has ice chunks in their ice cream, which people that love real deal ice cream do not want when they buy ice cream. Another sad part that really ruined it for me is that the raspberries were sour, not fresh, almost fermented taste, if I can use this term, like it gone bad already...Sorry guys, but quality does not correspond to other locations, and not even close...I would rate 1 star, but had to give 2 stars cause people that work there are very nice and provide polite service...so there, that is how I felt about this place, after trying it...

I recently visited Cold Stone Creamery in West Hills and ordered mango and coconut ice cream. While the staff were friendly and the store was clean, the ice cream itself was a huge disappointment. The coconut ice cream didn’t taste like coconut at all—it felt like eating melted ice cream with no distinct flavor. The mango ice cream was sour and had a strange, artificial taste, which made it feel like it was poor quality. Overall, it was a bad experience, and I won’t be coming back. Unfortunately, I expected more...

So I came into this store 10 minutes before closing because I had a hankering for some ice cream, unfortunately the service at the Thousand Oaks location was so terrible that I had to leave that location, and rush over this store as I was not going to end my evening without satisfying my craving for some coldstone The staff here was extremely polite, efficient and the thickness and consistency of my shake was remarkable Thank you again and keep up...
