There’s a lot of issues with this restaurant that haven’t been addresed: The menu lists plate combos that include a drink, but the waiter will tell you the opposite. She literally ignored us when we stated that the menu says that the plates we ordered include a drink (soda). Legally speaking, the menus should be updated to reflect any changes. It is deceitful for the menu to state that some plates come with a drink, when in fact they don’t. That’s illegal.
I ordered some green chilaquiles & it took almost an hour for them to bring them to our table. In fact, all of us got our food 45-50 min after ordering, which is insane considering that the restaurant wasn’t even close to being full or too busy.
The chilaquiles were so acidic and over-salted, it literally burned my tongue just like extremely salty chips do. Their QC is terrible. My mom ordered the red salsa chilaquiles and those didn’t even taste like red sauce, they tasted more like “adobo” based sauce.
For a Mexican restaurant that prides itself in using the name “Cuernavaca”, a beautiful city with amazing food, it’s a shame. I’ll never go here again. I recommend eating from street vendors before eating here. I’m Mexican, I’ve tried 1000s of different Mexican food restaurants. This one is one of...

My family & I were looking for a place to eat while we waited for a dress alterations and this was the nearest (walking distance). We arrived and got seated right away. I am a very picky eater so I went ahead and order myself tacos de asada, I was craving them so badly. When the food arrived; I looked at my tacos and I told my fiancé “I can’t eat this” the meat looked gross and it did not look like asada meat. My fiancé told me to just eat it and so I took a bite and couldn’t even swallow the food, I had to spit it out. The gentlemen came to check up on us and I told him I did not like the tacos and he apologized and said they have been having trouble with the meat (what the heck does that even mean!?) he ended up taking the food back and I did not order anything else, I was disgusted and lost my appetite. Very...
Read moreAuthentic Mexican food! Delicious! First time here andI was truly impressed. The establishment is located near Santee Alley a very busy not so clean area but the food made up for it! I have not had food this great since eating in my Abuelita’s kitchen. The beans were seasoned to perfection and made just like homemade. The rice was flavorful and cooked just right! The CHILE RELLENOS ARE oh wow wow wow DELICIOUS! Deseeded, breaded perfectly, and cooked to perfection with the right amount of cheese and sauce. The corn tortillas are handmade and heavenly! I am definitely looking forward to visiting their other location and will be back at the LA location as a regular. Thank you for allowing me to experience my Abuelita’s home-cooked...
