We are from Australia and myself and my 18 and 21-year-old daughters Stayed here mid February 2023. We had just been scammed by booking.com or similar and had nowhere to stay and found this place. The manager was absolutely fantastic as were the staff. I cannot fault the service that we received. We decided to stay longer, and they were patient and kept the place for us until we made up our mind. The apartment we had was amazing, It was a two bedroom at the front of the building a few floors up. It had a full, luxurious marble kitchen and a small but functional lounge room. Spare toilet and Ensuite bathroom. Everyone bent over backwards to help us. I would have given this hotel five stars If it weren’t for the area. It is right near Skid Row, a block away from the infamous Cecil, tent City everywhere, I usually stay in “real” areas because I hate the sanitised experience, and I don’t want my children experiencing sanitised America either, and I tell you what, that is not what they got LOL It was very intimidating and scary, and we couldn’t catch public transport because we stood out too much as tourists. Great little shop across the road though. But don’t go there at night. There were gunshots Outside on the street on two of the five nights we stayed there. We would not stay in this area again despite living for eight days in Harlem in New York and feeling safe. Harlem had nothing on This area. However, this Hotel itself was as good as anything that I could have expected to stay in, and if it wasn’t in the middle of skid row area We would stay there again in a second. We are very worldly people But we Still felt unsafe. We personally did not get hassled by anybody really On the streets in any terribly negative way, and everyone was nice enough to us but it was the overall feeling of being in a very sketchy location. Can’t say I didn’t give my children the real LA experience given that it’s got the highest homeless rate in America and a crime rate 59% higher than other places in America. Once again, great accommodation and service, but the area...

Read moreI have my own rating system. 6 stars: Presidential Service 5 stars: Top Notch Service 4 stars: It was straight 3 stars: Ok 2 stars: 😶 1 stars: I need to bypass the manager and speak to the owner.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is located in the heart of downtown a few blocks from Crypto Arena. An older building, but that didn't take away from the elegance within. You're downtown, so that comes with downtown situations (homeless, traffic, bikers, sirens, etc) to be even with all that it wasn't bad. We weren't bothered by anyone.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Customer Service Attendant: Daniel He was great, friendly, and made sure we were comfortable. He checked in on us because we had a few special medical requests with our reservation, and he delivered. Also met the manager and he was very nice as well. There were 2 young ladies who worked the front desk, and they were amazing as well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Room Have to break the clean seal to enter the room. Was very spacious and clean. As soon as you walk in on the left there is a place to put your shoes, coats and suitcases. To the right is a full kitchen. When you walk a little further into the room just past the wall partition, there's a queen bed, end table, and a twin bed. In the middle of the room was the living space with 2 couches, one with a pull out bed. 65' TV on the wall. In front of the kitchen is a dining table with four chairs. As you walk past the TV, you walk into a little hallway to your left. There's a walk-in closet with ironing board & iron, and plenty of storage shelves. To your right is the bathroom. Then you enter the bedroom with a queen bed and 65' TV on the wall. There's an end table next to the bed with plenty of sockets to plug your electronics into.
⭐ The parking garage across the street No fault of the Haas, but the people that owns that it, has a cash grab. Once you park you have to stay there until 6 am. Their rule is no in and out. Every morning at 6 am, you pay a flat rate of $10.00. Every time you come back, you pay $10.00. That could easily be anywhere from $50...
