I never thought that I would have to leave this type of review because I always enjoy coming here during 3rd Shift and ordering my favorite meal the full nacho with chicken bacon extra pico and extra sour cream. There's a particular server who usually takes my order and he always does a good job and despite the fact that I'm homeless he treats me like a regular customer without any type of Doubt or suspicion and that makes me feel better as an individual a lot of people look down at a person that is homeless or hard on there luck at the moment yet I always pay my bill and I tip and I tip real good.
So tonight I went in there and I guess this sever wasn't working tonight, although that wasn't a problem I wouldn't have minded still eating, however the security guard and the new staff member(I'm not sure if he's new I haven't seen him before all the nights I've come and ate there) I'm not sure what his name was but he had an afro but they just made me feel completely uncomfortable unwanted like I was beneath them, like just new because I'm temporary homeless I can't pay for my meal or I'm going to be on some BS. Why such quick judgement before even giving a person a chance. Truthfully yes it hurts and I don't fault Denny's or the rest of the staff cuz this is a great place, I love your service and I'm still going to eat here just requesting a different server but tonight just showed me how some people in the world can really look at a person thats beneath them or isn't doing as good as they are.
However no hard feelings, no bitter feelings. I still will continue to dine at that Denny's preferably on the nights when this specific server is working. I'm not upset with Denny's tonight, or the kitchen employees people are free to their own opinions and are entitled to judge despite how wrong it may be at times, but me i'm completely fine with my homeless situation because I'm working and I'm getting on top of my stuff I'm going to show everyone else that's in my situation or worse off than me that they can make it out of theres too.
I just want to say thank you Denny's for your awesome customer service you have a great staff and I'm quite sure your server knows who I'm speaking of he always gets those nachos for me it's a really good restaurant I just think you should let a certain employee and security guards know that they should make everyone that walks through that door feel welcome like a genuine customer despite how they may come off or look cuz you never know a person's background or their true story it's like they say you can't judge a book by its cover. Just because a person is homeless doesn't mean they're broke or they're going to try and steal or dine and dash. Everyone deserves a chance, I mean have you ever put yourself in the other persons shoes.

Read moreI am very disappointed in them very good doing away with her 2, 4, 6, 8 menu especially since nothing even remotely similar exist anymore, not even a gradual price increase...
As for the experience at Denny's itself, okay they didn't taste bad, but I wouldn't necessarily say that they were $$13 good, and did you go portion looked like a for half portion which I was not thrilled about at all I definitely felt short-changed and I'm kind of struggling to not give them fewer Stars here for that reason. Also, my friend was told by the waiter that a side order of two regular pancakes by itself would just be $2, wasnt until later examining the receipt that the waiter not only misquoted the price but then went and rang it up had to have seen that he had misquoted it by about half of what it actually was handed us the bill without saying a word about it and we left not knowing this but upon review of the receipt that alleged $2 two stack of pancake was $4.
Granted $2 is not an absorbent amount of money but that said, on principal alone that shows a lack of integrity on the waiter's part to say the least not to mention the fact that 100% more expensive is definitely something notable and it's also a ridiculous amount of money for two pancakes plain pancakes at that.. literally just plain pancakes and nothing and I'm at all none of the fancy nothing .
So I got the shock that my favorite order there is a biscuits and gravy meal was no more, the sticker shock of prices I've never seen remotely this this high at Denny's before got charged for a full portion and not a super nachos and received the equivalent of a half order if it dine in but charged at the rate of course (which makes it zero sense give me the rest of my nachos, even if they are mediocre I still want them) lied to about a pancake price that turned out to be 100% price differential...
All in one "magical" visit to Denny's - NOT going there again anytime soon, no reason to anymore everything good about it has been destroyed were canceled or poisoned by waiters with a vacuum integrity and toxic work ethic.
RIP Denny's, I am getting you strong prediction that within the coming couple years, we will see the full and ultimate closure of the once-iconic Great American staple have 24-hour yumminess for people of all walks of life, age, race, Creed ,or "teenage clique" we all went slow and have so many memories of, Denny's.. that will...
Read moreNovember 15, 2022 Unfortunately this time my experience was not at all satisfactory. Only two servers were running the show... dinner time at 6:30pm. Wait time was much longer. I got my soup after I finished my dinner and while waiting for the check. They waitress said there was no charge for it. But does it really matter? My TBone steak was dry and "sandwich" thin. Didn't enjoy the food at all. My wife's Salmon dinner was also very dry and tasteless. Side order of "corn" was old, dry and tasteless as well. My daughter's steak was somewhat edible. The vegetables I ordered were old , dry and burned. Overall our dinning experiences were not at all satisfactory and it cost us $80 plus Dollars. What a waste of money and time. The menus have also changed. No more side orders of shrimps. Pretty boring. Well, I am not going to go back to Denny's anytime soon for any meal. If I have to pay $80+ dollars for our meal.... I might as well go somewhere where we will at least be able to enjoy the food. 2021 I went back to this Denny's after a long time. They've patio dining and it was great. The atmosphere was nice. They weren't that busy. Katherine took our order. She had a very pleasant and friendly personality and was very patient with us. I ordered a sirloin steak and to my surprise, it was much more than I expected, so perfect. The manager stopped by our table a few times to see if everything was ok (we were a group of 8). He is also a very friendly person. Over all, our experience at this Denny's was very good. I hope they pick up their usual business soon. The place was clean and plenty of on site...
