I had 30 minutes before boarding my flight started boarding and since it was a nonstop to the east coast with likely no food onboard, I decided to get something to eat. I wanted something semi healthy so I stood in line at the Habit. This was an extremely long line with only one cashier working, 1 employee lounging by the grill, another building sandwiches, one wearing a managers shirt delivering orders, one running back and forth between a back room and the front, and one plain clothes individual "helping". So I attempted to be patient as possible as people started to complain about how long their orders were taking and they need to board planes. Finally I get to the front and place my already decided 15 minutes ago order for the cashier to say they don't have any chicken. đŽđđ¤đ đĄ so I just waited in this line for 20 minutes to get to the front for you to tell me there's no chicken. Why not a sign to let people know so they don't waste time standing here and go somewhere else? The cashier says Im sorry but we don't have a sign. đđđđđđ. Needless to say I didn't purchase anything and I went around looking for short fast food lines but there were none. I ended up at a smoothie place called Earthbar where I had mentioned my dilemma only to find out it was managed by the same person named Danielle (the plain clothes person behind the counter at the habit). I ended up buying a smoothie with some protein in it but the girl behind the counter didnt want to wash her hands đ¤˘đ¤˘after sweeping the floor and playing with her hair and her mouth but just put on gloves like that was somehow ok. Then when she washed her hands she didn't want to put on new gloves. Nonetheless I did find Danielle to complain about both establishments but all she said was that they didn't have a sign and would talk to the...
Read moreGrabbed a sandwich to eat before my flight and it smelled really off. I thought I was tripping at first because I was really hungry but I shouldâve trusted my gut. I walked back from my gate to complain to the employee who called her manager which took another 10 minutes for him to come because he was at another station. He refunded me and I asked if they could hook it up with a smoothie because my stomach is probably effed for this flight and in needed something to hold me down. The fact that I even needed to ask was annoying and he did not care nor apologize at all for my situation. He comped a smoothie and left but the lady working legit took 20min to make it. Almost missed my flight and had the plane wait for me to be the last one to board. Awful experience and I warn everyone to never buy anything from the grab...
Read moreI fly weekly and often stop by Earth Bar in LAX. Iâve never had any issues â until today. I asked the employee, Kim, if I could grab a water from the fridge. She told me she couldnât unlock it because she âneeded to open the TVâ first. That alone didnât make sense, but I waited patiently. After 15 minutes, she came back only to say someone else needs to open the fridge â and that she couldnât help us at all.
At that point, we just left without buying anything. No apology, no solution â just a complete waste of time and a horrible attitude.
For a place inside an airport, where people are in transit and expect basic service like being able to buy water, this was completely unacceptable. Iâve never left Earth Bar feeling this frustrated. Today left a really bad taste â and not from the smoothie, but from the...
