Fig's Corner — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We embarked on an enchanting culinary adventure in LA to check out a new restaurant that just opened about a couple months ago.

As soon as we walked in, I loved the ambiance and decor!! Their menu is a paradise for hot pot lovers, but they also have an array of tantalizing options that will send your taste buds into a frenzy of happiness with food.

My absolute favorite dishes were the Golden Broth Hot pot, Grilled Squid Skewer, Cheese corn and the Grilled ribs!!

What we tried…

Golden Broth Hot pot As soon as he brought it to the table, it tantalizes your senses and make your mouth water. I LOVED the full-bodied broth, which has a depth of flavour and great balance. The golden color of the broth is bright and colorful. I was looking forward to digging in. The sweetness from the corn and the umami from the mushrooms adds a layer of flavor. Perfect comfort food!!

Sichuan Mala Hot Pot The bright red color tells you that this hot pot is VERY spicy 🌶️ Be careful because it can be a little numbing if you’re not used to this level of spice. A lot of care and time has been taken for the depth of flavor. I tried a little at a time, so I was able to handle it.

Green bean rice noodles fun to add in the hot pot. Texture was a little firm but light. Popcorn Chicken crispy but juicy. So tasty!! Cheese corn. creamy, cheesy goodness, sweetness. So good! I couldn’t stop eating it. Enoki mushrooms long, thing strands, chewy texture, earthy taste. The sauce gives it a good flavor. Grilled ribs delicious!! Easily one of my faves!! grilled flavor, crispy outside, tender Chicken wings So crispy and tasty

Yakitori Lamb skewers Tasty , light, flavorful Pork skewers Very spicy 🌶️ full flavor, a little too salty , a little dry Grilled Squid skewer love the flavor, sauce has a little sweetness, firm texture, fun to eat. This was my favorite skewer!! I wish we had ordered more than 1 lol Grill Taiwanese sausage so good! Sweet. Flavorful.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fig’s Corner, an authentic Chinese hotpot restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the hip and well-decorated ambiance that created a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

I ordered the Signature Beef Hotpot, and it did not disappoint. The dish was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds, with all the essential elements to create an amazing hotpot experience. The presentation was impeccable, making it a perfect dish to share with another person.
