My recent visit to Fiord's Filling Station at LAX left me disappointed and dissatisfied. I had ordered a Macallan 12 year single malt, hoping to enjoy its smooth and distinctive flavor. However, to my dismay, what I received was a concoction that seemed to be a mix of cheap tequila and the single malt. The resulting drink had a horrendous smell and tasted nothing like what I had expected. It was a truly unpleasant experience. On the positive side, the food at Fiord's Filling Station was decent. Although it didn't make up for the disappointing beverage, I found the food to be satisfactory. However, the bill I received at the end of my meal was unexpectedly high. Considering the subpar drink and the overall experience, I felt that the prices were not justified. In terms of service, the staff was courteous, but they seemed overwhelmed and unable to address my concerns adequately. I wish they had taken my complaint about the drink more seriously and offered a suitable solution or compensation. Overall, my visit to Fiord's Filling Station LAX was marred by a poor beverage experience, high prices, and only average food. I would caution others considering dining here to be wary of the quality of the drinks and be prepared for a potentially...

The place is worn (table tops are wood and all chipped and scratched) and not very clean (there was trash beside my foot and under my bench seat). I ordered a bottle of wine (sleep aid for a red eye flight to the east coast) and food for two. The check arrived with a 20 percent gratuity added. A note said, "20 % gratuity added to all bills more than $75." I almost always tip 20% (waited tables in college) but I've never seen a gratuity added to a bill in the US unless it is for a large party. When a gratuity is added automatically it is typically 15% because that is the "standard" tip and more is for really good or exceptional service. Pricing at LAX is already inflated for food and beverages and a gratuity is supposed to be discretionary or "gratuitous."

What was worse was that after I gave my credit card the slip had a line item for you to add a gratuity and then total it before signing. If you didn't look at the itemized bill you would not know you were already charged a 20% "gratuity."

It's all a bit slimy. My advise: Eat elsewhere or make sure your bill isn't over $75 at this dirty, slimy...

The manager on duty 1-28-2022 8p.m. REFUSED to give me her name for a review. She was so rude to the girls sitting next to us, I felt compelled to leave a review. I’ve never seen such an abuse of authority without cause. Her negative attitude made an impact on the entire bar and everyone left because of it. I’m sure the airport does as much business as the volume allows and reviews mean less here, but something has to be said about the energy and vibe she was emitting into the world. It’s not a good look on anyone to say, “I’m the manager here and you all can leave, WITHOUT FINISHING YOUR MEAL OR DRINKS” to the other patrons. I am taken aback by the lack of respect she was portraying in the “hospitality industry” where customers are looking for a break from the weary travel schedule so many of us are on. Hopefully, upper-management finds the name of whoever the elusive “manager of this place” is and reacts accordingly. The average happy customer tells and estimated 3-5 people about their experience and the average unhappy customer tells on the average of 10-12 people about their...

So I had an impossible burger meal and a drink before catching my flight and the food and service was fine, although overpriced I left a 25 percent tip. However, when my flight was delayed and I returned I had a different server named Arnulfo who was incredibly rude and couldn't even get an order for an orange juice correct. His attitude was for no reason. I was polite and even gave him an opportunity to explain himself before leaving and paying my check. I explained that just moments ago I received food and service that was completely opposite from what he was providing and if something was wrong. I gave him the opportunity to apologize but instead he doubled down on his attitude snatching my empty glass off the counter and slamming a menu on the bar behind him still with no apology. I was the only person of color in the restaurant and the only one he was treating this way so....while I hate to assume the motivation for his behavior it definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. 5$ for an orange juice and an attitude was definitely not worth it.

Ate a quick dinner here before our flight at this restaurant inside Los Angeles Airport. The menu had a lot of good choices such as pizza, hamburgers and a large variety of sandwiches. I ordered a BLT and French Frys (see photo). The prices were typical of an airport restaurant (always more expensive). My husband ordered a bowl of Tortilla Soup, which was a fairly small serving size, and the soup was 'okay', but not good enough that he would order again. The service was good, but not great, and that is the reason for my 4 Star Review. The wait staff wasn't very enthusiastic or friendly. The seating was comfortable, and the music was pleasant (not too loud like the adjacent 'Rock and Roll' restaurant). Overall, we enjoyed our pre-flight meal at this Airport restaurant.

Dude. When I think about doing the least, I now think of this place. I LOVE impossible burgers so I was excited to try theirs out. The burger was over cooked, no seasoning whatsoever, and they literally opened a $1.50 bag of chips and dropped them on the plate with some ketchup lol If I’m spending $60 on ONE entree and two mediocre drinks, I’m expecting at least the food is bomb. Throw some Worcester sauce on that mug with some creole seasoning or at least some Laury’s seasoning. Some special sauce, avocado… Product/service vs value…I would say don’t get food. Eat before your trip, bring snacks, or just starve until you get to your destination. Get that bag of peanuts during the flight to hold you over.
