i was looking for a comfortable cafe to hangout in and was happy to stumble across this place. decently quiet with some street noise, comfy couches, handful of tables. great place to get some work done. i got a matcha latte and it was.... not good. just a cup of pale green milk. really improper matcha to milk ratio. regardless, i still plan to return when in the area just because the vibes are that good. maybe this time with a different bev order.

This coffee was the real deal. A dark roast that actually lived up to everything a dark roast should be was an unexpected surprise, as most coffee shops disappoint. It was so good that I also ordered an espresso that was completely on point. And the service and ambiance were great. Thank you for making my morning, Harry!!

Today's good mood is sponsored by coffee and FRIDAY! Without further ado let's begin this coffee adventure review.

Hudson Theatre Coffee is a nice corner coffee shop within the theatre lobby. It's located on Hudson ave and Santa Monica blvd. Inside the coffee shop has that cinema like atmosphere. Interior decor was well thought off with art works. Similarly, they have an breadth coffee items on their menu with unique names. I had a hot The Nutty Professor (Hazelnut coffee). I loved it. And so was that classic movie. lol.

Staff, a male barista, with a soft spoken voice was professional and kind. Delivered my drink to my table. This coffee shop has a relaxing atmosphere and free wifi. As for parking, the side streets around the Hudson Theatre offer plenty of 2-HR free parking until 6PM.

Overall, I had a great relaxing order experience and enjoyed my latte. I highly recommend this modest...

It's been a month since I visited LA and I'm still thinking about the Dark Horse. I've been drinking vanilla lattes for a decade - this is the best one I've ever had and it's not even close. Said as much to the barista. He gave me a quiet nod, then: "That's why I call it the Dark Horse." The king he is.
