Never go to this restaurant. We came to this restaurant looking at the rating and price from google. But first thing when we looked at the menu and asked about the pricing. He told don’t go with google. Google is not ours and every is lie. Go to our website that the correct one.
Price is not a problem but the attitude he has is too much. We ordered chicken biryani, naan tikka masala, tandoori and lassi. Biryani had peas, capsicum and OKRA and ofcourse 5 boneless chicken pieces(small cubes). He literally took vegetable fried rice and add chicken to it. When asked he said who eats dum biryani(I never asked for dum) and when I showed OKRA he said what can you expect in this busy day ? Keep it aside and eat. Seriously I had to show my middle finger for his arrogance but he continued saying you are just a visiting customer and he doesn’t have to satisfy much. When I was taking pic he came to us apologized and said he will not charge for biryani, moment he saw me opening up google he told now she is writing review I’m going to charge full for everything. He got attitude for no good. Seriously I’m sorry for his business and customers. Restaurant untidy, chef wore a black trash bag as apron on his hip, no lock in bathroom. Not sure how he got 4.5 rating may be he posted it all and now I get it why he called don’t go with google😳. So he can blind fold customer not reading...
Read moreI was picking up a carryout order from this restaurant. I got out of my car and started walking towards the door where an employee was waiting outside. He immediately started telling me "10 minutes" multiple times. I told him I was there to pick up an order and he said it was a 10 minute wait and that I wasn't allowed inside and had to wait in the parking lot which i thought was rude and disrespectful. I waited 10 minutes and then stood outside the door. This employee then told me I could come inside but had to stand in a specific spot and he kept pointing at the floor and telling me to stand there which i again thought was rude. I refused to go inside at this point. He brought the order outside to me, I took it and started walking back to my car until the employee started something something to me and I turned around and noticed that he was following me to my car. To get him to stop following me, I then told him that I didn't appreciate being disrespected and told where I was or was not allowed to stand. The employee never said anything else but as I got in my car, I noticed that he kept staring at me and slowly walking towards my car until I drove away. This employee was rude, disrespectful, and quite frankly, very creepy by following me to my car in the...
Read moreIt was 8pm on a Wednesday night in Mid City when the hunger pains began. My partner suggested Crown of India Tandoori Restaurant, as we have ate there once before & it was an unforgettable experience. I immediately thought they were closed as it is a family owned restaurant. However, they're open until 10:30pm! I was elated & jumped in the car to get down to the restaurant as soon as possible.
We walked in & were immediately seated by Maruf. We already had a game plan of what we wanted. Veggie samosa, tandoori chicken wings (two orders this time!), & garlic naan bread. The first time we ate here we tried the chicken tikka masala & it was delicious! We had to try something else & this time we ordered the Vindaloo chicken because we love spice! We were served onion bhaji somewhat like an onion ring with our veggie samosa. The wings are unbelievably flavorful, some of the best chicken wings that have ever blessed my taste buds. Everything is actually full of flavor. This place is a must try! We topped off the evening with the mango kulfi, what I describe as a perfect little mango ice cream to end the glorious night. Amazing family & service, thank you Maruf!
P.S. some food didn't make it for pictures because we were so...
