Reviewing as someone who worked on a show that rented this space. If you are looking for a space to rent for a show or event... BEWARE! This theatre is a bundle of broken equipment. We had to repair many lights and align almost all of them. The sound equipment is basic at best. But beyond that there are things like the control booth overhead decides on its own to turn on and off, the lights are broken or burnt out in the tiny staircase leading to the booth and there's a host of other problems. Very cool theatre on a side street near the heart of Hollywood. I've seen two alternative performances here, including a magician named Jon Armstrong and a grotesque clowning troupe called Mil Grus.

It's an old theatre without bells and whistles, but it provides a unique venue for off-beat fringe art. It's tricky to get to the bathroom, because it's located around the corner from the main performance area.

Likable family and friends facing a despicable criminal, finaly cought and taken away by police, as justice prevails. Great dramatic crescendo arc followed by a happy resolution.
