Do not go here. The mask mandate for LA county changed this morning. If you are fully vaccinated you do not have to wear a mask indoors. We walked inside and saw an employee (male, with shaggy black hair and wearing glasses) not wearing a mask. So, the group that I was with figured that he was fully vaccinated, and that’s why he wasn’t wearing a mask.
Once he saw us, he very rudely walked up to the group and said that we had to wear a mask or no service. I called him out for not wearing his, and his response was…..”Bro, I work here..” I said even worse. You should be following your own policy.
I then said, are you aware that the rules for masking in LA county changed this morning? His response… “Bro, I don’t care… it says it right there.” He then pointed to a crusty old sign that says masks required.
Rules for thee, but not for me! He was so rude that they lost 5 customer’s in a matter of minutes. How much business is the owner losing because of this clown? The other employee was embarrassed, and apologized for the other employees rude behavior. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from this place.

Read moreI have visited and frequented many boba time locations, and found them all to provide great drinks! This location also has great drinks and a lot of variety of desserts and sweets. It even has juices which is only available at certain locations.
However, I do not approve of the business practices at this location. This location is just so utterly horrid, I just had to write about how this location is not only ruining the brand image, but about how this woman is just a incorrigible human being. Worst customer service I have ever received. Not only does she treat her customers like trash, but her employees as well. I heard her verbally abuse them as they worked, and it was just disgusting. I thought maybe it was an off day for her, and gave it a second chance. The second time I visited was just as bad. She is the worst representation of this brand.
During this pandemic, businesses should more than ever provide decent, if not excellent customer service to bring regulars into their shops. It just baffles me how horribly this woman runs her shop.

Read moreWe came on Saturday night just before closing. The place was packed with their friends (lots of profanity and inside jokes that made us super uncomfortable thinking they were discussing our appearance and speech).
We ordered a basic tea without any boba (the cashier said they were out). No issues there. We paid by credit card. A few minutes later someone else came up and said they were all out of tea also and the only thing we could get was a smoothie or our money back. We chose the latter thinking it would come back on our card. This is where it got strange. He gave us a receipt stating the refund but as cash. We didn't get cash back. He said if we don't get our money back in 24 hrs to just come back. We told him we were out of town and didn't have that option. He pressed some buttons and said it will be refunded tomorrow.
Guess what, we didn't get our money back. Seems to us that they refunded someone but it wasn't us, and the receipt states cash which makes us believe cash was taking out but not giving to us. Hmmm...it's a $4.25 lesson to never return there..but others beware...
