Horrible experience. I was attended by a rude, unfriendly & standoffish employee named Alexandria at the Jersey Mike's located across from the Eagle Rock Plaza on 2601 Colorado Blvd. 90041. Her lack of customer service has influenced my decision to no longer step foot into this Jersey Mike's and spend my money elsewhere. I will share this with my family & friends so they know this location employs people whom are extremely rude and have no intention to be helpful. Alexandria has a horrible attitude and a really awful energy that radiates onto the customers. As we asked her questions not once did she answer, not me or the customer behind me. I politely asked if it was too late to switch my choice of bread and not once did she answer me back. She just ignored me, turned around & gave me her back while completely disregarding the question. Granted she did switch the bread, but do you really want an employee that does not communicate back to their customers and acts bothered when asked to make a change request. It was also extremely uncomfortable to see the customer behind me ask for advice on which sandwich to order. When asked, she never really helped her out, never even tried to guide the customer but rudely responded "are you going to order it!" answering with attitude. This customer walked out and decided not order. This is something I should have done as well. The other 2 employees did not talk much, but not once did I get the same vibes or attitude. Once I had paid and left the negative infested counter, I came across the lady whom was behind me whom tried to order. I asked her if she thought Alexandria the employee who was trying to take her order, if she thought she was rude. She confirmed she was extremely rude. I figured my manners and professionalism skills weren't off beat. So I decided to head back to get the contact information to inform the owner or manager about my experience. I felt that the young gentleman weren't going to really bring forward my concerns so I decided to write a review. I did ask for her name and told her she was very rude and could significantly improve on her customer service. Once I vaguely told them the problem, she shouted from where she stood and yelled at me and my 9yo daughter to get out and leave. I was not rude, nor disrespectful at all. She just did not like my constructive criticism when asked what was the problem by the manager on duty. Once I got home to greater disappointment, this is by far the worse Mike's sandwich I had eaten. Dry with no flavor. The sandwiches were made carelessly and without intention or attention to detail. Let me make something clear, I am not one to put bad reviews or complaints, but I had to considering how blatantly disrepectful Alexandria was. It really was disturbing to see a person working with people with absolutely no people...
Read moreHands down the worst experience I have ever had in a sandwich shop. Ever. You'd think an online order they print out and follow would mean it's impossible to mess it up.
You'd think. I mean, all they have to do is read the order, make the food, and done. Simple and impossible to mess up.
This location went to impressive lengths to prove that wrong.
From the condescending, rude emoloyees answering the phone who refuse to give their name (but as the manager also refuses to allow his employees to give out his name, it makes sense) to managers (still nameless) who don't bother to return phone calls (anyone want to bet me that the first employee never even passed on the message?) and a corporate office that tells you if you want to give feedback to a location to fill out a comment card...literally NO ONE with this company cares about the customer.
It shows. Who cares if you treat them rudely? They are only lowly customers. Who cares if the order is wrong? They paid for it. Who cares if they have a great experience? It's not the management or the staff. Add in that getting to this location is a pain...and, well, there's a Subway down the street and around a corner and a dozen other places. Heck, keep driving down Colorado until you find another place to eat. Anywhere is better than here.
Anywhere.
Let's put it this way...I was offered an electronic gift card (no idea of the amount, didn't care) to make up for the experience. I turned it down.
I'm not willing to go back, even...
Read moreI never leave reviews but I think it's worth mentioning how polite, professional, attentive, and helpful this staff is. Most of the people who work here are super young and I did not have their customer service skills at that age. We usually order online and they always have our order ready when we arrive (even when we're early). They acknowledge every single customer, ask if you need extra napkins etc. The one time I ordered in person, the staff member saw their was one tomato left in the food pan and instead of giving me that nasty old tomato, he got out a new tray--and they were delicious.
Corporate, if you're reading this: I have never noticed a tip section on the online ordering platform. If you have one, please make it more obvious. I swear I've never seen it and never have cash and these people deserve a tip. Also, we are regular vegan customers. Please consider partnering with a vegan meat company like Tofurkey and cheese like Chao or Follow Your...
