I’ve had disappointing experience with this local restaurant that has left me frustrated and dissatisfied multiple times. The decline in service and multiple wrong orders have made this pupuseria restaurant an unpleasant dining experience.
Firstly, the decline in service is evident from the moment you walked in. The staff seems disinterested and unengaged, making us feel unwelcome. It takes a considerable amount of time for only 3 pupusas (45 minutes!) I’ve gotten pupusas on the street with bigger clientele in a shorter amount of time.
To make matters worse, our orders have consistently been incorrect. We have always specified clear instructions when we order but when we brought these issues to the attention of the staff, they were dismissive and unapologetic. They seemed unconcerned about the mistakes and offered no solutions or alternatives despite that we were clearly told they would fix it but they don’t honor when it comes to compensation and It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.
Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. The decline in service, coupled with the consistently wrong orders, made for a frustrating and unsatisfactory experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to others and will not be returning myself...
Read moreFood taste good. Service is way below par. Ordered 2 pupusas and1 horchata. Iwas abit thirsty and the horchata tasted really good, drank all the horchata before my pupusas arrived. I put the empty cup very visible on the table so the waitress could see it and possibly offer a re-fill or even a second drink. Waitress comes and drops off my pupusas and completely ignores the empty cup, how could she miss that. Started eating my pupusas and looking around and even making slurping sound with last drop of horchata and ice in the cup, hoping it was going to get waitress's attention, it did not. I ate 3/4 of my meal very slow and no one showed up and checked up on the food. At this point I decided to go up to their check out desk, waitress walks behind completely ignoring me, she could of said atleast how was your food, but did not. Then she went behind desk and ask me for payment, at that point I just told that service here was horrible, pointed key poi ts of service they had missed. Untill now she apologized and went forward charging me. Nothing was done to remedy or compensate for this unfortunate experience. I highly believe it is not her fault, it most likely be the lack of hospitality training.
Will be back soon, as their pupusa and horchata...
Read moreWith all due respect the service is pretty awful. THE WAITRESSES seem to be worries about themselves, not attentive, don't know what's going on, and don't take ownership of when they mess up. The food is decent a priced moderately but service is down the drain. Truth be told, the service while visiting authentic restaurants in actual El Salvador was more exceptional, and they are actually underpaid in that country! But they have and demonstrate respect over there. At this location you best be lucky if your order is taken correctly and they know where it is. I am really disappointed and may not go there in the future. Too long to receive your order. They try to look through receipts and are all over the place like fumigated roaches running to hide. Owning a business is one thing, but managing is another, and honestly with the telephone lines is always busy, off the hook, or they blame in on the inter signal. RIDICULOUS REASONING. Hopefully they have an owner that cares and will respond with resolution. I'm not the first customer to let them know. I know lies hurt as much as the truth does, but main thing of owning a business is customers. They are you bread a d butter, not...
