60out Escape Rooms - Hollywood — Attraction in Los Angeles

I’ve done about 16 escape rooms, most of them through the 60Out company. This location though has the BEST game/clue masters that really get you plugged into each experience.

The best room here, regardless of difficulty, is the Wizard’s Treasure. It’s full of whimsy, charm, and fun whether it’s your first time or millionth time doing an escape room. It probably helps that Alex, our amazing Clue Master, really sold us on the room’s story (at first I thought she was serious 😂 then realized she was just really good at her job of setting us up for the room).

My rankings for the rooms here in terms of fun are

1. Wizard’s Treasure (easy and fun)
2. Da Vinci’s Secret (challenging and fun)
3. Doctor Psycho (slightly spooky, puzzles are okay)
4. Red Alert (mild difficulty, okay theme)

Wizard's Treasure is an absolute delight. Amazing production design, and the puzzles are all well thought-out and very fun to fiddle around with. I'm an avid puzzler and did several very difficult 60out rooms before this room, so I was skeptical if I'd enjoy it due to its 'easy' difficulty, but even for the most experienced player, it's fun through-and-through. You're encouraged not to rush through, and to take in each puzzle individually with the whole group, and I'm glad we did. I wouldn't have wanted to miss out on anything in the room because someone else got to it while I was busy. And every puzzle feels collaborative due to the open space. Not to mention its game designer, Grant, was our game master, and was the real treasure of the room! He led us into the room with a wonderfully silly story, and stuck around for several minutes after the game to answer our questions and talk about the room. Play Wizard's Treasure next chance you get! I promise you won't be disappointed by it. Charming, clever, and very fun....
