Do not go in to get a Swedish massage!!!

I purchased their Groupon and called to schedule my appointment to be on my birthday. When I arrived on the day, they did not have recollection of my appointment, but were still able to accommodate me. They seemed annoyed that I was using a Groupon because in their words, they only get paid $5 from Groupon. That is not my problem, that is between them and Groupon, so it made me uncomfy to be made to feel that I was doing something wrong.

However, the main reason I am writing this review is because I booked a Swedish massage but did not receive one. On the phone I said that was what I wanted, when I arrived I marked it off on their intake form, and I verbally confirmed with the misuse when he entered my room. However, the massage I received was intense and painful. The misuse told me if I needed him to be more gentle to let him know. I let him know about 3 times throughout the massage but it was no use, he continued to apply maximum pressure. I also let him know I was in too much pain about two times. I also did not like the oil they used.

After the massage, I did some research, and found another review detailing the same experience that I had with the Swedish massage. It turns out that they were actually doing a Thai massage. Honestly a truly terrible birthday experience and I am hoping I can get my money back...

I booked a 90 minute couples massage we chose a combo Thai/swedish/deep tissue massage. My friend was serviced by a woman but I did not get her name. I was serviced by Ting, and although I did check off on their initial paperwork that I wanted no more than medium pressure, he was too firm for my liking. I used to be a massage therapist, so I can confidently say I have a good idea of pressure levels, technique, and how to start off the body by warming up the muscles first. Ting began applying firm pressure right away and I honestly was left waiting for the Swedish part of my massage. I’m not sure of anywhere else on my body, but my arms where he would run his two thumbs have marks left behind.

His technique was strange to me, but maybe for someone else that’s bigger figured or that is needing that kind of deep pressure Ting applied would benefit from it. He was just too much for me. My friend said the lady who serviced her was great and she would...

Omggggggggggg this is the best effin massage spot everrrrrr! And I’ve had possibly 400+ massages in my life! Hands down the best quality massage I ever had. Super detailed, precise, and on point. Every part of my body was taken care of. They kept the power and quality throughout the entire. Super professional, and relaxing. They know exactly what the hell they are doing here! Their massage methods and routine is very particular and well planned. It was like 90 mins of pure heaven. These guys are Thai / massage gods! lol not even kidding! Just wowed! The stretches they do also, are just phenomenal, cracked and stretched the tension in my body away. This is forever gonna be my massage spot now. Ain’t going anywhere else!
