UPDATE: 1/4: within 6 days my nails starting showing dark spots where the nail polish wasn't done properly. I called the salon to have them redone as this was simply unacceptable. Tony the manager easily arranged an appt day of with a different nail tech free of charge. When I showed up, I requested french tip (really for pain and suffering) but I literally had to argue about being charge $7 extra which I wasn't impressed about. It was the principle of the matter that I had to come back and waste my time. Eventually the owners came to agree and had the nail tech redo my nails as requested. Nancy did a good job. I added a 1 more star because I feel that they should have been more accommodating without having a full blown argument over a measly $7. I've attached a photo of my new nails. 12/29: called ahead to check for prices. Was quoted $35 for acrylic fill/gel and $35 for gel pedicure but ended up paying $80 for mediocre work. My experience at this place was of a VERY amateur service. I'd advise you patronize another nail salon well deserving of your money! I literally feel like I wasted my money as this wasn't even a bargain for the low quality provided. DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT YOUR MONEYS WORTH!!! Trust me, Nail'd it nail salon is not far from here and does a much better job with the same prices. READ MY ESSAY BELOW if you care to know why exactly! First off, the pedi tech kept bringing the wrong colors requested, literally had low comprehension. Next, I've been to nail salons that have a tech working on hands and another on toes but this place had me in the most uncomfortable position whilst the toe tech finished off the polish which may I add was sloppy. Next, I literally wanted a clear natural/opaque pink color on my hands and neither techs could provide options when I couldn't find it on their wall or in their books. Once I showed a photo, my hand tech had to shoe another colleague for them to provide the exact color I desired off their table. Next, I noticed my hand tech wasn't painting to the edges all after giving me excuses why she couldn't do ballerina/coffin shape properly (something along the lines of being afraid to break the nailwhich I've never heard in my lifesmh!).
Anyway, when all was done my tech wanted to charge me $45 for the hands BECAUSE she drilled them a little shorter and used gel!!!! I was shocked because she did not inform me that it would cost extra to trim my nails at the time SHE OFFERED to do so, so I argued that I was quoted $35 but she wasn't considerate. At this point I'm obviously upset and once I give my card she proceeds to ask if I want to put tip on top which she would add manually... this seemed very dodgy to me because I'm used to writing in the tip myself if not using cash. I ended up finding some cash to tip with (bearing in mind that the service has been mediocre and they hiked the price up on me). Low and behold, once she brought the receipt to me there was that space to add tip myself so I believe the tip talk previously was a way to guilt me into it.
The final straw was that once I was in better lighting outside the salon I could see that there were bubbles/gaps on a number of my nails where the polish missed. My nails do not feel smooth at all and this is not okay, especially for the rates they charge and level of service they DO...
Read moreI've been going here since 2009 and I've never had a bad experience up until my most recent visit. The person who did my pedicure kept digging to pull out a non existant "ingrown". I understand wanting to make it look neat but if there's no actual ingrown, there is no need to look for something to dig out. I told her that it hurt and she continued anyway. The rest of the service was rushed and there are large gaps between where the nail begins and where the polish starts. By the 3rd day, the pinky toe polish completely peeled off. Which tells me the nail didn't cure properly. These issues I can deal with. My biggest issue with this last visit is that I either caught foot fungus here or some type of infection because my toes are swollen, white and very uncomfortable. The pinky nail that the polish peeled off from is so swollen that I can barely put my shoes on more than a couple of hours. All she did to "clean" her tools was use a hard brush. I wish I would have called as soon as a the polish peeled off to let them know something was wrong and they need to PROPERLY DISINFECT their tools. Chop shop or not, they need to at least sanitize their tools....

To be a manager & manage a location who customers come in, the attitude should be more sincere instead of having a smirk on his face as if everything you're saying to him is funny & stupid. To top it off, it is RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL that among you & your employees speak your native language as you are staring at the customers. In this case, you all talking in your language while staring at me. That is so damn disrespectful & that to me shows none of you have manners. Have me talk in my language while staring at you & your staff, is damn near disrespectful & would be seen as that. You guys not only showed me disrespect but laughed at an older woman who got her appointment date mixed up & denied her services to be seen today, all because her appointment is tomorrow. & before y'all decide to take this down, pull up that video footage because you guys sure do have cameras put up in every corner of that salon. & then you guys wanna scam people by double charging them.
