This rating is entirely about the manager who was working at McDonald's when I came here Friday night to get ice cream with my girlfriend. There was one person working the counter and he was working his butt off. Helping everyone, taking all the orders and making sure everyone was being taken care of but as one person he could only do so much. The two of us ordered 2 sundaes and a small order of French fries and we had to wait for 20+ minutes because the manger was too busy chatting it up not just with a customer but a former employee of this McDonald's who the manager managed to make sure got her order right away.wbat they were talking about was this chick's hair dye!!!! That's what we had to endure while we waited for our ice cream and while the poor dude at the register was running around taking care of everything. I felt so bad for the guy because he knew he wasn't able to get to our ice cream because he was taking care of the people in line and getting the food as it was ready. He knew his boss was doing anything but he couldn't say anything. My girlfriend finally went over to the manager and complained that we had been waiting for a long time just for ice cream and french fries but she barely even responded. The dude at the register responded t apologetically for her! Then this manager lady (wanted to use profanity but it isn't worth it) went to grab our fries and rudely tossed the fries, lightly and not to the point where anything spilled or it created any issues but it was was absolutely rude, disrespectful and not very manager-ly. I will never be coming back to this McDonald's and I don't recommend it especially when the larger manager lady is working the night shift. Employee claimed the order was cancelled and would be refunded with an email confirmation when we were informed we couldn't get our food.
Not only did we not get our food, but refund wasn't processed and they claimed there was no way to give us proof of refund after they failed to provide confirmation email.
We asked for Manager assistance just to at least get some sort of written confirmation we'd get our money back. Or to at least get a supervisor contact info that could help us further since according to her, there was no record of our order anymore after her employee refunded our order.
We left with no food, no refund and no confirmation receipt/email just because the Manager Gabriel according to her, "prefers not". Gabriel will literally tell you "I PREFER not too".
Even getting a corporate or franchise number from her was impossible due to her lying about being able to provide that info. We don't know their rules or policies so if she couldn't provide us that info, we asked if she could call them because all we wanted was our money back or at least confirmation it would be processed since our order disappeared according to her.
At the very end she just told us she rather not call her supervisor, gave us some random number because apparently McDonald's doesn't have funding to provide business cards for their district managers. And for us to leave our contact info with the hopes we'd get...
Read moreThis past few months, they been making mistakes with my to go order. Couple mistakes, I forgive them because I work customer service also but I have my limits. Now, I ordered again after working and very tired and tell them about their past mistakes and wanna make sure it's the right order. This one mistake is the last straw, one of my drinks is iced coffee, I thought I was mistaken maybe my drink taste different so I keep drinking until my heart suddenly keep beating fast and I feel a bit sick. So I let one of family drink it and they say its coffee. I could handle a little bit of caffeine but this one, no. I called them, they don't have record of orders sadly, and they say bring the food but I throw away the drink already. The girl before months ago was nicer, she tells me she would replace my previous order before but I decline since I'm being understanding to them. But the person I talk to today was not really good at customer service. Many of them needs to be trained better at customer service from what I noticed, some are very rude.
