McDonald's — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Mcdonald's is the physical equivalent to Heaven. With amazing food. And amazing employees. Most people don't understand why Mcdonald's is better then Wendy's in a Fast Food match. But people whom have an high iq can understand the lore. The year was 1987 Wendy's was fed up with Mcdonald being to the top the fast food chain, and had enough. He put him into a go kart and said "Race me or you'll never see your customers again." So Mcdonald raced him. And they raced, and raced, and raced, and raced. Until they've given up. Wendy's knew he was defeated. But he never gave up. He called down Burger King to join the race. It was a fierceful 2 v 1, with Jack In The boxes flying around everywhere and fries being thrown But it seemed like nothing could take down Mcdonald's. Then it happened. The final race. Every Fast Food chain was against Mcdonald's. They were fed up with his winning streak. They all decided to join together and build one mega kart. One so powerful that not even Papa Johns could take down. Mcdonald was still confident that he could win. Then the day approached. The race began. The sky was dark. It started to rain. It all came down to this one race. Mcdonald was ahead, as always. But he noticed his car was starting to fall apart. His engine started to smoke, and his wheels were slowly coming off. I've been to McDonald's in 5 countries especially all over the United States an this was by far the worst experience I've ever had. My entire experience went bad starting with the cashier. She was awful. I was never greeted nor did I get any sort of smile. As I gave her my order, I asked for a Powerade because where I live they all carry it. She told me they don't have it so I asked her what they did carry. She told me, "We carry the regular drinks." I asked her what they were because I didn't know. She said the same thing again we carry the regular drinks. I told her that I thought Powerade was a regular drink and asked her again what the regular drinks were. She repeated the exact same thing then told me with an incredibly amount of attitude that she wasn't comfortable telling me the names of the drinks on the menu. At this point I was incredibly frustrated and the cashier next to her noticed my frustration and told me what drinks they offered. I was really bothered, but relieved to finally have my order placed for me and my kids. I asked her for her name and she told me it was Aubrey. I don't know if this was really her name or not since she wasn't wearing a name tag. Once I received my order I started becoming annoyed by every little thing that happened after that. My 2 kids meals were missing their BBQ Sauce so I had to return to the counter. After that, I started serving them their food and noticed that we didn't get any napkins so I returned to the counter. When I took a bite, the Bic Mac bun was stale. Lastly, I noticed that my drink was a Medium when I ordered myself a Large. I was so bothered about everything else that I hadn't noticed. When I returned to the counter again, I brought the receipt and one of the guys told me that the receipt stated a Medium Drink and a Large Fries. So when I said Large I apparently had to specify that both items of the same meal needed to be Large. I understand that this is an incredibly busy place that serve hundreds of people a day, but it doesn't excuse the disrespect and crudeness to the customers. It is a clear reflection of what the management team of this place allows their staff to get away with and it really makes me question the actual quality and cleanliness of the food served. If they allow people to treat the customers like this then they probably allow the staff to avoid other things like washing their hands. Poor Customer Service

I wish I knew the name of this staff so I can properly address this feedback to him. Nonetheless, I’ll give you a few description of his features to help you recognize him and experience him for yourself — he's a short guy, chubby for his size, bald, with distinctive accent and I guess in his 40s already or above. On top of that, he’s a rude person too.

To cut this whole story short, I will tell you how this staff responded to us after we asked him a quick follow-up question. Again, allow me to remind you that we are tourists in this city. We normally get confused so we ask questions and we do it politely. So anyway, while placing our orders to him we asked if the burgers include fries because we weren’t sure if he registered the 'meal option' for us. You know what he said? “Do you see there’s fries!?” --- This he replied in a rude tone and unamused face.

Realizing what he meant by that, we requested to add ‘kids size’ fries for our burgers. After that he asked us again. I thought he didn’t register what I said so I responded again IN A VERY NICE WAY: “Kids size” — to which he promptly replied to us, “I SAID IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE?!” -- Again, in the same inappropriate manner.

To be honest, we stood there feeling stunned BUT STUPEFIED. My cousin and I still wanted to add more (esp we didn’t have drinks yet) but the fact that we were being treated that way, we realized we were done for already. So we said we’re good and that was it for us. He dismissed us with pleasure and yelled again... “NEXT IN LINE...
