Comforting, Delicious, and Worth the Hype – A Must-Try in Little Tokyo
This charming little spot in Little Tokyo is always buzzing with people and for good reason. I stopped by after hearing about their popular crème brûlée crepe and decided to try the version with banana custard filling. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but from the moment it arrived, I was impressed. It looked absolutely beautiful-golden, delicate, and inviting.
From the very first bite, I knew I had made the right choice. The crepe had a perfectly thin, slightly crisp exterior, with the signature brûléed sugar top that added just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. The banana custard filling was rich yet light, and so comforting. What I loved most was that the crepe itself wasn’t overly sweet, which created a perfect balance with the creamy filling inside.
The flavor combination actually took me back to my childhood memories-specifically, the comforting taste of warm paratha served with bananas and milk. It was nostalgic in the best way and brought a sense of warmth and familiarity that only truly good food can offer.
On top of that, the dessert was reasonably priced, especially considering the quality and care put into its preparation. The location in Little Tokyo is also a plus, surrounded by so many other unique and cozy food spots, it's the perfect place to stroll and explore.
The atmosphere here is lively yet welcoming, and the staff were friendly and efficient despite the constant stream of customers. It’s clear this place has built a strong following, and I can now see why.
If you’re in the area and looking for a comforting, delicious dessert that feels both elevated and homey, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend! I’ll definitely be back...

Millet Crepe now has a second location, and they opened up spot #2 in the middle of Little Tokyo. The location is an inspired choice since their crepe cones have a Japanese and a French influence.
The creme brule crepe cone is their signature dish, and honestly, it is a near perfect desert (at least for my tastes). I'm very lucky I don't live next door to one of their shops because I'd quickly get addicted.
Everything is made fresh to order. The size of the cone is a perfect size. There are a variety of combos and flavors to choose from, and their menu features other non crepe items, but I go straight for the crepe cones every time.
They finish off the creme brule cones with a quick sugar toasting to give the top of the cone a sugary crunch.
From the 1st bite to the last bite, I am feeling joy. I love that they picked this spot for their second location because I get down to the area fairly often, but it is far enough that I'm not tempted...
