My wife and I ordered a cheese burger, double cheese burger, two drinks and chilli cheese fries. My double burger bun was completley burnt, and the meat was hard, as if it was frozen and not cooked all the way. The woman that runs the resturant, did not give good costumer service AT ALL. We did not get our drinks untill the burgers were done, and she did not begin to cook the fries untill our burgers ready. The resturant was empty, it's not like she was busy. She could have simply droped our fries in the frier when we ordered. The fries we saw were from a frozen bag, one you can buy at the grocery store. The chilli sucked and the cheese wasn't even melted on top. I saw as people from Asian decent walked in, she began giving great costumer service, and trying to service them as quickly as possible. It wasn't worth 13.00. Oh and it's cash only. There is an ATM in the resturant tho (costing 2.75 for cash). Refills are 50 cents too, well at least...
Read moreThis is a nice, hole in the wall, burger joint. I have tried various items here and think there are three key options for most people.
Fried Chicken Basket - For around $6 you get way too much chicken and fries, so much so that your to go tray probably won't close. The chicken here is ridiculously flavorful and you won't regret your choice. In my friend group, this has been endearingly nicknamed "the ghetto chicken."
Shrimp Basket - A handful of fried shrimp, 1 burger, and a salad or fries, I can't remember. This used to be my favorite, just for variety's sake. It costs as much as the Fried Chicken Basket, but without all the oil.
Short rib plate - Holy crap is this short rib plate good. It is korean bbq style short ribs with rice. I am salivating just thinking about it. The meat is well flavored and the juices mix in well with the rice to make an overly...
Had tons of memory growing up around here and Olympic Burger actually became a big part of that memory. My actual rating for their food is not a current one, it's based on at least 20 years old ago experience. They were known for their galbi plate. It had generous amount of short ribs served with fried rice. They always offered to give this korean chilly paste sauce to go with it. It was barely a buck or so (again, reminded that this is based on like 20 years ago) to get this golden brown fries come out piping hot from the fryer. And if we had enough money, we go for their chilli fries, again, with generous amount of money. We used to play Street Fighters 2 and they were all good time. Sorry, I couldn't provide more current status and most likely this place had many owners...
