Taking place at Koreatown plaza, you could shoo away the headache for finding parking when you paid a visit. It's located close to one of the entrance, right above H mart. Plenty of seats were available and it wasn't as busy as typical cafe in K-town since many of the guests were actually having them for to-go, or just sit for awhile then leave right after finishing their drinks. IYKYK, most cafes around the area had people hanging for hours, making it tricky to find seats.
Like most other coffee shops in this area, they did offer abundant choices of drinks with the signature cream top. It excited me knowing they offered Earl Grey Latte, as I was a HUGE FAN of Earl Grey paired with coffee. Apparently, O Beem's version had the earl grey being the cream top. The default came with oat milk, which I substituted for almond as I wasn't in the same boat with oat milk's fan (no offense!). It was pretty nice, though I would prefer it to be slightly sweeter and would fancy bolder earl grey taste in it. Still worth trying if you're curious, but wouldn't say it beated my current #1 favorite for Earl Grey Coffee, which was from Stagger.
To my surprise, I was more hooked by the dessert than the coffee. I went for their Matcha Croffle and that matcha cream, which somehow reminded me of Angelina's Mont Blanc due to the shape, was such delicacy! It was thick and bold, well balanced by the light cream underneath it and blended well with the refreshing raspberry toppings on top of the flaky croffle. Extra point for it being made to order, keeping the croffle at the...

Absolutely loved my visit to O.Beem inside Koreatown Plaza! This cozy little cafĂŠ offers a unique menu of Korean-inspired drinks and delicate desserts that you wonât find anywhere else in LA.
I tried the Iced Mugwort Einspänner and Black Sesame Einspännerâboth super flavorful and smooth, with the perfect balance of earthy flavors and rich cream top. Mugwort has a naturally earthy, nutty taste thatâs actually really soothing!
Their Earl Grey Financier was my personal favoriteâlight, fragrant, and so satisfying. And the Dubai Croffle? Buttery, flaky, and just the right amount of sweet.
The space is clean, has a chill vibe, and even includes patio seating. Plus, since itâs located inside Koreatown Plaza, itâs a great year-round spotâcool in summer, warm in winter!
Also love that they offer validated plaza parkingâhuge plus in K-Town.
Whether youâre a fan of Korean flavors or just want to try something new, O.Beem is a must-visit cafĂŠ in LA!

âď¸ I know some people say their drinks are on the sweeter side, but the Mugwort Einspänner had the perfect level of sweetness for me. (FYI, I do have a sweet tooth! && maybe it depends on the barista?) It was balanced, not overwhelming at all. The Black Sesame Einspänner was more on the nutty, creamy, and milky sideâsuper smooth and comforting. âď¸ The croffle was a little tricky to cut, but once I bit into it, the texture was crispy outside, soft inside, and honestly?...

If you are a matcha lover: try a different drink. The matcha is desaturated/slightly brown. The flavor is subpar, itâs grainy. All of these things indicate low quality matcha. The drink is 5% âmatchaâ and 80% milk, the rest is ice. Itâs also very sweet. The cream on top is comparable to American icing, the sweetness that leaves a sticky feeling in your mouth. The mugwort latte is okay.
đľ2/10 overall for drinks đľ8/10 overall for atmosphere, thereâs a lot of places you can sit which is nice đľItâs also conveniently in this mall, so thatâs nice as well
Overall I wouldnât go out of my way to come here, but maybe Iâll try another drink if Iâm already at the market...
