Sorry so lengthy.. Read to the end for a real idea of the One-Piece Cafe. Oh my gosh !! I went to One Piece Cafe today. I was so excited , My niece went with me she was also very excited. They had very cool merchandise only 4 shirts and a tote bag but some of their other things were really cool, like the gum gum fruit ,some of the pins, and keychains were pretty awesome. They had mugs and tumblers so quite a bit of things pretty exciting stuff, especially if you're a One Piece fan like I am WOOHOO. There is a big cut out of Luffy as you come in so you can take pictures with it, which was fun, which I did, there's also wanted posters of so many of the famous pirates we've watched over the years. I took a picture of every single one.!! From what I understand there are only two One-Piece Cafe locations one in Little Tokyo in LA California. The other is in Las Vegas. I went to the one in LA. I came from Indiana. I have family that lives in Port Hueneme. I drove an hour and a half to go to the cafe. Okay here's the real scoop. Food wise I got Jimbo's juice it was good, sweet & delicious. I had Frankie's Burger and fries for my lunch. It was just not good definitely not worth what I paid. My niece had Robin's tea it was very good refreshing and just tasty. For food she got an appetizer Zoro's onigiri with seaweed inside. She seemed to like it okay. Then she also got, Sanji's beef yakisoba. She liked that okay but she said she has had better. Then we also both chose one of their awesome beautiful donuts. The gum gum devil fruit delight and Sanji's strawberries and swirls. I do feel like we tried a little bit of everything. So all in all food was just subpar. The drinks were great. Now,, to tell you what I actually spent. Hold on your socks. My lunch bill with tip was $106.02... after eating our lunch out side, because there is hardly any seating inside. Which is not great. We went back in and made a second purchase for merchandise. My niece personally spent probably $60 or so , I'm not sure exactly. But I do know exactly what I spent looking at my second receipt I spent $159.14. I got some pretty cool stuff though. Then I would like to tell everybody a little secret they actually give you a One-Piece napkin it's just a plain napkin but it's got a One-Piece logo on it but they really only give you ONE so put that one aside and take it home if you're a fan. Don't wipe your mouth on it like I did, because when you go back up and ask them for an extra napkin, even though you've spent $106 on lunch and $159 on merchandise and drivin all the way from Indiana and put this on my special to do list. They refuse to give you another napkin. That left me a little bit salty. For real!!!! If the policy is they're not going to give you another napkin they should hand you your food and tell you look here's a cool logo napkin if you want to save it use the plain one.!!! cause this is all your getting!! Yup pretty SALTY!!! TO ME THAT IS HORRIBLE...

Overall, the experience was great and stressfree all thanks to the security working on Sun, Sept 28, Raphael (Sorry if this isn't the right spelling). He made our experience phenomenal and huge shoutout to all his work! We went at around 11:30a on that Sunday. No line outside but tables inside and outside were all full already.

Parking: We were in little tokyo already so we just walked from there. Looks like there is street parking if you want to do that instead.

Space: This cafe is rather small. A few tables inside and the outside is a little larger with more tables. Some are standing area also if you can't find a spot. The line starts outside and you are let inside by security when there is space inside. There is also some one piece merch you can buy inside.

Food: The menu has many options from sandwiches to fried rice. We ordered the burger and the katsu sando. The burger was delicious! The Katsu sando was ok but it was also difficult to eat because of the way the chicken was cut. It was difficult to bite the chicken the way it was cut. Flavor though, it was still good. We also ordered the ube horchata and matcha horchata. Both delicious! If we were to go again, I would order dessert and drinks. Prices are a little high but it is unique so we expected that.

Customer service: From the time we arrived, security, Raphael, was opening doors for customers, cleaning up after people, cleaning the tables, I mean he was BUSY but did everything with a smile on his face! After we ordered, he told us he would let us know when a table opened up and sat us when ready. He came by from time to time to ask how we were doing and if we were ok. I was with my husband and my husband was very impressed with the customer service he provided. He made our entire experience wonderful and so...

Check this place out if you're a fan of One Piece and want some merch and photos, because that's all it's really good for.

I got the meat platter which came with two beef ribs, two short rib bones, two sausages, two slices of pineapple, some green grapes, a chicken drumstick, and a small side of rice. It was lukewarm and lackluster.

My husband got the curry and apparently they ask how spicy you want it and having it mild was a choice. So that's good to know. His curry was small for $22.

We also got takoyaki to share. Tasted like normal takoyaki. Sriracha mayo wasn't overpowering at all.

I also got the Mikan slushy and it was just alright. Husband got the ube horchata. He said it tasted more like ube than horchata, I tasted more horchata than ube.

Overall, our price without tip was ~$87, which seems overpriced for the quality of the food you're getting, but again, you're mostly paying for the "One Piece" theme.

Some of the workers were dressed up as One Piece characters which was cool.

Security guard was nice in opening the door for others, especially when you're picking up your food and situated outside. The guard was also offering to take photos for people who wanted photos taken in front of the store, which is nice.

They have two bathrooms, but one wasn't working when I went. Parking can be pretty bad since it's Little Tokyo area, but it is...
