UNIVERSALLY DELICIOUS. (8TH & Western | Mid City | Korea Town |
I'm not one to post about places in my home town, but everything in me tonight, everything that has been saying I should review Pollo La Brassa finally came to a head.
Maybe it was the shorter than normal pick up time, the ease in parking my suv in the small lot, or the way Monica, the familiar face behind the counter who impressively speaks fluently in different languages, warmly gestured me to the register without having to wait, or her cook who lifted the screen in front of the chicken so I could photograph it.. maybe it was the food that remained hot and delicious by the time I got home, and put a smile on my families face.... yes, I'm sure it was these things... These things are the reason I'm writing this review today.
This place is universally delicious. The chicken is brined and roasted. With the years of dripping chicken fat that lines the furnace, the taste of this chicken can not be replicated. Especially, if Monica remains the friendly and familiar face of...

Ordered the half chicken with rice and beans which cost around ~$18. They have tables to dine in that look like the old diner style. There's a small parking lot that can fit about 5 cars. Be warned...this place does not have good customer service. The cashier was not friendly at all.
Now...this is one of the best rotisserie chickens I've had EVER! Wow. Each piece of this half chicken was absolutely delicious with flavor and oozing with juices. The juices were literally dripping out with each bite. The rice with some carrots complemented the black beans in a broth like soup that tasted like they were made with meat. This place is highly recommended if you are a chicken liver or even meat lover. This is one of the best...

You need to come make the payment. I told the lady you didn't tell me on the phone that I need to make the payment to kake the order. So she make me wait longer for me to get my order. Then I told her I want my money back and she told me is going to take 3 to 5 business day to get to my card. Anyways the way she talk to me was really bad customer service. So if you are peruvian and want ro eat pollo a la braso don't come to this place. Worse customer service, really unpleasant people to talk. I ask her for the owner of the restaurant and she told me she is one of the owner. I talk you need to work in your customer skills. Do not come , worse...
