I haven't been there in a long time though others come by my place with pizza from there pretty regularly. But tonight I crossed the street myself and went in and was thrown a bit by a few new (@ least in the past few years style new)things. They have a calzone on the menu, which I never knew as what's brought to my place is always just regular, usually so regular its only got pepperoni on it style pizza. I got the calzone, I thought it was a no brainer, even though I just had pepperoni on it as well. But I knew that it was gonna be really good. And I wasn't disappointed. I had the cheese all running from calzone to my mouth like a web of sorts; always a good sign. It's huge- I barely could force myself to finish half of it at first eating. It was a good golden but a little bit on the darker side of gold and just right honestly. I added a slice of cheesecake last minute and it was the yummy creaminess you would expect and also just in the right amount. That part wasn't made there, someone else somewhere else clearly does that part. Which isn't any jab at Ricky's. Because the cheesecake was spot on regardless and they clearly want to stick to what their specialty is which is the pizza (and so on) part of the meal and thats just fine- and they did it really well. Yummy! The "so on" I referenced with "pizza" were things like chicken and a number of specialty pizzas as well as choose your toppings to make your own pizza and assorted other tidbits and more. I saw they have a specialty pizza that appeared to be cheese and jalapenos or some other similar pepper , largely sliced and spread all over. Woo wee. I can't do it, but I would like to shake the hand of the one that does. Talk about "growing some hair on your chest" (something always said back home) but I can't imagine too much that would do that so solidly as that pizza. EDIT*Ever since the first part above I get basically the same thing over and over and my friend always gets a pineapple and canadian bacon pizza. She nor I can get enough of it. But the other day on a suggestion and another person joining in wanting to get something to try of their own choosing we completely swapped up our usual and got the 12 piece buffalo wings and the cheese sticks. I asked if the cheese sticks were the garlic sticks add cheese and I was told yes. And when I tell you we didn't stop remarking on how delicious it all was every bite we took, im not even kind off exaggerating. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE...

My recent encounter with Rickys Pizza was nothing short of a complete disappointment and an utter disgrace in terms of customer service. Let me recount the dismal series of events that unfolded:
I placed an order through their app, excitedly anticipating a delicious meal from this seemingly cozy little pizza joint. However, my hopes were quickly dashed when, upon arrival, I was informed by a disinterested employee that they had decided to shut down early because their tablet had died. Yes, you read that right—their tablet died, and they decided to close shop, leaving me and other hungry customers without any alternative, apology, or compensation.
The level of indifference displayed by the staff, particularly one employee who seemed more interested in staring into oblivion than addressing my concerns, was truly astounding. It was clear that customer satisfaction and retention meant absolutely nothing to them. Their lackadaisical attitude towards my cancelled order and subsequent refund request was appalling.
To make matters worse, when I inquired about a refund for my cancelled order, I was met with shrugs and vague promises that someone might get back to me about it eventually. No urgency, no accountability—just a complete disregard for customer service standards.
Rickys Pizza, with its hole-in-the-wall charm, might have thought they could get away with such incompetence, but they couldn’t be more wrong. As a paying customer, I expect basic professionalism and a modicum of respect. Instead, what I got was a slapdash operation run by individuals who clearly couldn’t care less about their patrons.
Let me be unequivocal: I will never set foot in Rickys Pizza again. Their blatant disregard for customer satisfaction has ensured that they’ve lost not just my business, but the business of anyone else I can warn. I intend to share my horrendous experience on every social media platform available, because no one deserves to be treated the way Rickys Pizza treated me.
In conclusion, save yourself the trouble and the disappointment. Avoid Rickys Pizza like the plague unless you enjoy being ignored, inconvenienced, and utterly let down by those who should be serving you. As for me, I’ll be taking my pizza cravings elsewhere, where customer service is actually...
Read moreOrdered Ricky’s Pizza after a long day and wanting to just get back to the hotel after being at a theme park for hours and hours. The value of the pizza was great. For all the toppings on the pizza and the size, $20 was a great value. One flaw was the ordering process… I attempted to order through their website but was unable to order bc the links to select what I wanted were not working. I had to order through this app called ‘Slice’ which brings up pizza delivery in the area. After ordering through there, the estimated delivery time was 30 minutes (which seemed reasonable for being less than a quarter mile away. By the time the pizza arrived, approximately 50 minutes had passed and the box was barely warm. I want to the guess the pizza would have been nearly perfect if it had arrived on time but their delivery process needs...
