Pros- The prices are VERY cheap considering that prices for everything are going up. I'm talking cheap as in $1.15 for a can of coke! The food is also great. My personal go-to is the chicken rice soup and the fried shrimp.
The restaurant itself is like a mom and pop shop. The service has always been very good. They always pack and pour my leftovers into boxes to go! I've never had any restaurant pack my leftovers in front of me that way.
The workers are also very polite, making sure I have everything I need.
Cons-
Parking for this place is a bit tricky sometimes, as the surrounding areas bring in a lot of people.
The only main drawback would be that the restaurant is lacking in cleanliness. The menus are sticky and dirty, even though they're laminated, so they could easily be wiped clean with disinfectant.
The restroom was also dirty and had a strong odor, and the bathroom doors didn't shut properly.
Lastly, it's disappointing to say, but THERE ARE ROACHES. There were a few tiny ones crawling on the wall next to my table, even crawling onto the table itself. This was disheartening and took away my appetite. It is the reason I'm even writing this review, and the reason I am only rating this restaurant with one star. I used to like this place and the food, but I'm not sure if I'd want to sit down and eat with roaches crawling onto the...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. If youre looking for traditional Americanized Chinese food this isn't the spot for you.
If youre looking for an authentic cuisine then this is it. I love their noodle dishes because they use thick noodles with a gravy like sauce that coats the noodles well. Their broccoli dishes come with a side of white rice and these egg roles are AMAZING. It may potentially be the love and dedication that makes the food SOO GOOD. I have never left here disappointed! If youre a little iffy on what to order I recommend the lunch specials, fried wonton, a noodles dish, a broccoli and a order of egg roles. I will also note that the sweet and sour chicken taste more sweet than anything but it is deliciously sweet. It is the same sauce used to dip the fried wontons in if you want to try it before committing.
The staff is very accommodating and nice. It is a small family owned business so its not as fast as corporation restaurants but its worth the...
Read moreA must for authentic Chinese food. I have read reviews of others that have been coming here for many years. We have as well! 40 years of patronizing this establishment and hope for 40 more. Food is always fresh and authentic, the #3 is my favorite snow peas, fried pork, chop suey, egg rolls and fried shrimp. Served with egg drop soup and delicious hand cut black tea. I Love how unassuming this place has always been. Family run, I have had the honor of seeing 3 generations serve us so far but they have been here and making delicious food since the 1950's!! HEED: cash only business, cold...
