You have to really motivate me to write a review. I really just can't be bothered unless it's really great, or in this case, really asinine. I know Starbucks has a history of bad management decisions regarding the use of their bathrooms. Let me assure you they still lack signs of intelligent life in this area. After standing in line and purchasing their overpriced beverages and pastries, I felt as if I could us the men's room as an upstanding paying customer unlike the parade of foot traffic wondering through only to use the facilities and continue on. I waited patiently for the men's room and about 25 minutes into my vigil, a woman approached me to let me know her boyfriend was in the men's room with diarrhea and that I should probably just use the women's room. I thanked her and waited for Amber (hi, I'm Amber, what's your name), the cashier that took my order to finish up in the women's room. Just as Amber was coming out, two children and their mother walked in from outside to use the bathroom. I explained to Amber that I had been waiting and that I really had to pee and I would only take a moment. Amber had a meltdown and couldn't allow me to enter the ladies room in front of the children. The children who entered Starbucks for the first time only seconds before, for no other purpose but to use the bathroom. Amber allowed the boys in the ladies room and told me to wait while she got the manager. She never returned. I waited and I waited. Finally the man with diarrhea came out so I used the men's room. I was in and out in less than two minutes. As I was headed back to my table and my friend, I was confronted by the manager. He asked me if I was the guy that tried to barge in to the ladies room. Barge in? I asked. You have to have the code to get in and Amber (hi I'm Amber, what's your name?) wouldn't give it to me. About then, a police officer came up to stand next to him as he told me about how he respects me and I should have the same respect for him. WTF is this guy talking about is the thought running through my head. Police!? Are you f**king kidding me? I told him not to worry, never give this a second thought because I will never come back to buy a thing. And in case you read this Mr delusional night manager; the answer is yes concerning any questions you may have about whether or not the horse you rode in on is included in...
Read moreWhile trying to pick up coffee to go to a business meeting at the register I did not get to finish my sentences of my order although I only had three items to order. The lady at the register kept asking me if that was all, if it would complete my order, if I was done four or five times back to back. After waving me off finally I waited for my drinks and everything came out one by one in different directions. While trying to make sure that I did not grab somebody else’s order I’m getting my only three items together, I asked if there was a drink tray for me to carry my drinks. Another lady told me that they did not have any and I said it was OK thank you! I walked to my company car I attempted to sit down. the iced coffee that had sugar and syrup in it exploded everywhere as I attempted to put it in my cupholder since the lid was not shut/sealed properly. My underwear and socks and the brand-new company car seat was absolutely ruined. I went back inside to ask them if they can remake my drink as it was spilled. The girl seemed very upset to see my face in there again and they took a very long time remaking my drink. As I was on the clock I asked her if it would be easier for me to get a refund because I need to go. There were no additional customers in the store either. The girl making my coffee got upset with me and told me to “check my attitude “. I told her that maybe she should make my coffee faster and I will have a nicer attitude towards her. Seconds after I was being cursed at and yelled at and being called a “pussy”and a “bitch” and being kicked out of the store. in just moments it felt like the entire store ganged up on me for not doing something right the first time. I felt threatened so I left very upset and had to go to target to buy brand new clothes and underwear and a towel so I can sit down while I drive. I also had to get my car seat shampooed. I had one of the worst days and longest days of my life thanks to yet another Starbucks location that seems to think they are some...
Read moreI don’t leave reviews often but I had such a negative experience from one of the employees that I felt I needed to review.
I order from time to time through the drive through and on numerous occasions an employee by the name of Didi was quite rude to me. Recently I asked if a certain tea was good because I was contemplating a couple different options. I was mostly just speaking out loud when I asked about a tea if it was good/healthy.. (OBVIOUSLY I KNOW IT IS TEA AND IS PROBABLY HEALTHY), this employee responded by saying “if you’re asking me to medically diagnose you, I can’t do that”.
HUH?? 😂 I am a very easy going personality, and I’m always kind to customer service people since I too also work a retail position and for a while as well. I know when there’s banter about items and I know how to respond to simple banter. Most every single customer service worker knows this. What I said wasn’t crazy or implying I was sick or anything. I was NOT looking for medical advice.
This is just ONE example of how this employee has been rude and almost condescending and it felt like a targeted experience since I’ve been there numerous times and no other employee has ever spoken to me like that. In fact NO customer retail employee in all of Los Angeles has ever spoken to me this way! It was nuts! I don’t like confrontation and I don’t like feeling like I was bullied or really spoken to like I was stupid.
Don’t treat your customers this was. I will never return to this Starbucks for...
