This place was highly recommended by my friends and I decided to come one day to try out their pho. It was a bit difficult to locate since the restaurant was sort of isolated from other buildings and its name was only presented on the building. There was no sign on the street either.
Atmosphere: Being isolated by itself, I find it very peaceful to sit here and eat. The restaurant is humble and nice to look around. Food: I get the pho special as always and it smells good. The meat is very tender. However, the noodles is undercooked. I have come here twice: the first time the noodles was really undercooked and the second time, the noodles tasted a lot better but it could be cooked just a tad more. Otherwise, it would have perfect. Price: The price is pretty decent for the food. It is not as affordable as Pho Cafe. The egg roll during happy hour is definitely a must! Service: the service is really good. Our waitress was nice and responsive.
Overall, I would come back at least to see if they improve the pho. Otherwise, I would rather go to Pho...

The waitresses collectively couldn't get simple service basics down. Our waters sat empty for the entirety of the meal. We were the only people in the restaurant, and no other drinks were ordered. What should have been simply communicated was strangle over complicated. It made for a very awkward (and quite miserable) interaction with our 2 servers (they were trading off on visits to the table?)
The Pork Ribs plate was good as an appetizer. When I asked how much a side of kimchi would cost (as it was listed as an item in multiple entrees and dishes), I was told $4. .... $4 for some kimchi. (If you don't know, that's okay. Kimchi is extremely inexpensive to make/buy)
The pho was good but nothing to write home about, honestly. With prices higher than more accessible and nearby competitors, I have decided I will not be visiting Ava again...
