So, I recently visited Sonic Drive-In and wanted to share my thoughts on the experience. While I do enjoy the food they offer, I have to give it a three-star review for a couple of reasons. Firstly, depending on what you order, or sometimes regardless of your selection, the food can be quite greasy. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but it's something to be aware of if you prefer less oily options. Personally, I find some of their menu items to be a bit too heavy on the grease, so that's something to consider. On the positive side, the service at Sonic Drive-In is usually quite nice. The staff members are friendly and helpful most of the time. However, I did have one rare occasion where one of the workers seemed a bit sketchy. They took my cash and didn't return my change, which made me skeptical about their intentions. I had to push the button and bring it to their attention, which was an inconvenience. Nonetheless, I hope that was just an isolated incident and not a reflection of their overall service quality. In terms of the atmosphere, I would say it's pretty average or "mid," as you put it. It's not particularly outstanding or memorable, but it's also not unpleasant. You'll find the typical drive-in setup with carhops and an outdoor seating area. It's functional, but nothing extraordinary. All in all, Sonic Drive-In is a convenient choice for a quick bite with friends and family.    Read moreNo syrup for my French toast sticks. Car hops should automatically be putting syrup with these orders. It is not the customer's job to check for these things. We were staying in a hotel. My husband went to pick up food, dropped it off to me, then went to visit his mom because her dad died over the weekend. I have no way to get any syrup and no way to go back to sonic right now. I simply asked for a refund and they were acting like they couldn't do that or giving me other options.
The first person I talked to on the phone suggested that I get syrup from the hotel and was being sassy saying that hotels have things like this. If that had been the case, I would not have asked my husband to go to Sonic to get us breakfast.
The manager Evan made it seem like I was incompetent that I needed the receipt which I did not have because, once again, my husband already left.
Why don't you check on your carhops to make sure they're doing their job instead of being condescending to customers when they call and ask for a simple refund?
I had asked for his name and then he made a snorkey comment and said if I wanted his last name too. No a simple first name would suffice. I was just trying to clarify if he said Evan or error and. I can see why the first person I spoke to had the same attitude.

   Read moreI routinely receive poor service at this location but this time was the absolute worst. I placed an order for one meal then the lady asked if I wanted to make it a large. I said yes, then she ended the ordering process and was no long there. I had another person to order for. I kept pressing the button again. Then they came out with that item. I told them I never finished the order and asked for the manager. Mikaela came out and said she was the manager. I told her what happened and also told her that we routinely have problems at this location and the location on Hwy 21 was always nice and friendly and we've never had a problem there. She said sorry they were short-handed. It was not busy, just a few other vehicles there and being short-handed is not an excuse for rudeness or poor service. She took the rest of my order and left. A few minutes later a nice lady came with the remainder of my order. She said Makayla said if we don't like that location then go to the other one. I couldn't believe a 'manager' would say that. Instead of fixing the problem at her location she tells a customer to go to the other one. I will not go back to this location and I suggest no one else go either. Go to the one on hwy 21...
