Waffle House — Restaurant in Louisiana

The server Mariana was si friendly and very attentive this young lady made me feel so welcomed and conversated with me while I enjoyed my amazing breakfast. The cook came by my table aswell and said he hoped he made my breakfast how I wanted it. I told him Im visiting from out of state for work and this is the best breakfast Ive had all week, its true. The grits were creamy and not undercooked the eggs over easy and just beautiful the bacon cooked homestyle and my pecan waffle was a sweet treat YUM! I didn’t catch this young mans name unfortunately but Im sending you two a shout out 🙌🏼 bravo. The only thing that I would say we could of done without was the complaining from an employee who arrived shortly on her shift she may have been a manager not sure. She was complaining about other employees not restocking and so on it kinda ruins the atmosphere. Things like that I usually wait to see the person who is not doing thier tasks and address them privately. Not vent it out to everyone else especially when customers are present. We dont need to hear the drama. But yes when im working back in town definitely...

I'm hoping tonight was just a bad night but there was a layered cake of incompetence here, when I entered I wasn't acknowledged except by an employee that was leaving, after waiting for quite a bit some girls came in and we're tabled and served before I was, granted I was a single customer, quite a few tables were filled so I remained patient, I eventually was able to get a seat and waited some more until another disgruntled patron spoke up and a explicit vocal exchange was had from both parties, as an apology the server said he would pay for my meal, which is why this is a two star review instead of a one, I had considered leaving at least twice during my wait, but I figured I could stay patient for a free meal, I would like to note that another person's food had been messed up at least once and my order had to be repeated 3 times before it was served to me, food was fine itself, but there needs to be better management and scheduling...

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a waffle house. The waitress were polite, except for when the silverware we had to ask for was tossed onto the table, but the place was a total disaster. A complete mess!

When I walked in there was only one occupied table and ALL the others were dirty. I sat down at a dirty table which was never cleaned. The floors were a mess, the bathrooms were a mess and were not supplied with toilet paper.

My food wasn't hot when it reached the table. Every plate was delivered at different times. None of our beverages were refilled.

At one point we were the only table in the restaurant. Eventually another party walked in and had to wait for a table to be cleared so they could sit.

With the restaurant as slow as it was it should have been A LOT cleaner. If the staff was not sitting out front smoking cigarettes it probably would have been.
