We got there at 7 and didnt leave until almost 9 because it took 2 hours to get a pizza. it took 20 minutes just for someone to ask for our drinks. i have never experienced something that awful. that was the worst service i have ever got at a restaurant. i kept seeing the cook go out and smoke when we havent even got our food yet. the server kept making stuff up saying that they had a pizza taking up 2 ovens. first why is there only 2 ovens. i mean all they really sell is pizza. so we got our pizza at 8:40 and we didnt even get to take a bite of our 2nd pizza before our server told us they closed at night. she basically kicked us out. so we thought we should have gotten the pizza free because it took 2 hours to get it when the cook kept going outside to smoke and when we told our server that we should get the pizza free the cook came out and said “ you guys havent even really ate the pizza “ when the pizza cane out like 5 minutes ago. our server told us that the big pizza was for a doordash but they dont do doordash. theres only 2 bearnos that doordash and they are not one of them. she told us the manager was making our pizza himself but we didnt see a manager at all there for 2 hours we didnt see anyone else except for our server another server and the cook. the other server got 3 tables out before we left and 2 of the tables got there after us. i was in shock about it all and the bill was still 110 dollars when we ordered 2 pizzas a couple drinks and our server sat down the to go box and we didnt say anything and she said “ your welcome “. she was very rude towards the end because we were nice through it all until we got our food at 8:40 and couldnt even eat because we basically got kicked out. i would not recommend going to eat there. while we were there for 2 hours there was only 1 other table still eating, they werent busy so it should never take that long to get 2 pizzas and they messed up on the first pizza because the cook was high. he blew smoke basically into the restaurant and we could smell the weed. dont...
Read moreI was there on Sunday, July the 28, 2024. My friend and I arrived around 11:05. They employee that finally greeted us said that we could find our own seat. So said that she would be with us shortly. We found a table and waited for her to come give us the menus and get out drink selection. WE WAITED FOR OVER 35 MINUTES. As we sat and waited we witnessed her speaking to new customers that were coming in and taking their orders. We finally went and asked for a menu. When she finally came to the table, she apologized for the long wait. That we (the guest) were being very nice. Well we were trying to be. She finally came back and took our order. We ordered the same pizza...I asked for no green olives on mine. That was the only difference. She went to the kitchen and placed the order. In the meantime...we sat and watched her take several more orders and deliver to almost everyone in there except us. The other customers that came in behind us, were given drinks, food and their tickets before we ever received ours. This was becoming a real issue. I finally approached the lady and asked if and when she brought out our food if she could please bring extra napkins....knowing the way things had been going that it would take forever for us to get them. Once the pizzas finally came, she asked if we would like plates. We replied yes, please. Those never came to the table. Both pizzas had green olives on them, when she came by, I said that I had requested none to be on mine. Her reply was "the kitchen has been having issues". She did not offer to make it correct, nor say that she was sorry. IT'S A GOOD THING THAT I WAS NOT ALLERGIC TO THEM!!!! We waited for and hour and 45 minutes for these pizzas. I am not from Louisville, yet, I have eaten at Bearnos several times and have never been treated this way. I will continue to go there when I am in town. I will not go back to this location. The service was uncalled for. The food...
Read moreI cannot begin to express the frustration that I’ve had with this location. I came into the location by the bridge in downtown Louisville, KY on June 27 to pick up my order and the computer system froze during my credit card transaction. I understand things happen so I gave $40 in cash for my $35.28 bill. I was told by the gentlemen that my credit card didn’t appear to go through but if it did to call back. I noticed the charge posted to my credit card two days later so I called and got the same gentlemen who rang me out and stated he remembered me and he would let his manager know to issue a reversal. I could not go back to the location as I live in another state. I waited 7 days and still no reversal. So I called back and no answer, called again still no answer. I tried leaving a message but the mailbox was full. I waited another few days and called back and spoke to a lady who immediately put me on hold for over 10 minutes and never came back. I called back and she stated she was the only one there and didn’t have any help and sounded completely overwhelmed. She told me to call back after 4 and speak to Ken. I called back and no answer, called again and again and no answer. I called today, July 21, over 3 weeks later and the lady who answered was so flustered that she fumbled on her greeting, then put me on hold as she stated there was another call. I requested to speak to a manager and she said she was the only one there and that I needed to speak to George who should be back in 20-30 minutes. First, get some help for these poor employees as they sound incredibly stressed and overworked. Fix your phone so you can receive messages and answer the phone. Since I cannot get any help from this company then I will most likely have to dispute this with my credit card. The drawer would’ve been over the night in question and the employee telling the manager about it should have had this...
