Ditto's Grill — Restaurant in Louisville

My dining experience was Horrible once before visiting Ditto's my husband and I requested to be seated in the area by the televisions We were eating having a pleasant conversation & without warning or anything the waitress starts shutting the restaurant down also cutting the television off that we were watching as if to say we're closing with no verbal warning or to even ask if we were watching which we felt was so rude. So giving it the benefit of the doubt because my mother requested to go I made reservations for 11 on Mothers Day thinking that things had changed for the better was I wrong our waitress was a young lady named Kristen I don't know if her being overwhelmed was the reason for her being so unprofessional but my family was treated very poorly by her. Only was it until my mother asked that we be moved from her area things started to turn around we were then seated by the serving area with an excellent waitress but we all know 1 bad apple can spoil a bunch. So Kristen comes to the serving area to the manager who engaged in a full conversation with her bad mouthing my family and instead of the manager being professional or acting concerned once she approached him with the situation my family and I watched them laugh it off not knowing we heard their every word . Sad to say the manager never asked was everything ok weather it been the food or just checking on us as customers he glanced over at us & went the opposite direction. I Would Like To Sum This Review Up With These Words In Mind Regardless The Color Of Anyone's Skin We Are All Human & Deserve To Be Treated Equal . If African Americans Are Not Welcomed In This Establishment Let Us Know Upon Being Seated That Our Money Is Not Welcomed In Ditto's. Contrary To Hear Say We Were Informed That Large Groups Of Minority's (African Americans) Are Not Welcome In This Establishment Which I Feel Is A Community Matter & Should Be Discussed With The ACLU Instead Of Getting A Bad Reputation For Treating People Poorly Of Any Race Or Creed The Owner Of Dittos Should Reconsider The Demographics Of This Establishment Being That This Is On Bardstown Road In A Ethnic...

One of the worst, and I mean worst experiences I’ve ever encountered, well to begin with me and my friends were out hanging out for my birthday this past Saturday night. We decided to walk around and explore the highlands area which I’ve always liked. So we were bar hopping and got hungry. While we were walking around trying to find somewhere to eat, we came across Dittos bar & grill. So we were like let’s go and check them out. Well when we went in there, we were met by the most rudest server, I’ve ever ran across in all my dining experiences thus far. One of my friends just asked if they were still serving people, he rudely replied “The kitchen is closed “, this particular server didn’t even look at or acknowledge my friend or any of the rest of us when he said this, we felt very slighted & felt like we definitely were not welcome as far as being customers, in fact there were other people in there, whom he was waiting on, that happen to be white, but when we came in, we were treated like yesterdays trash, but you know what, this place don’t ever have to worry about me & my friends patronizing their establishment ever again, I don’t care if it burns down to the ground, is rebuilt with new owners, we will never come back. This restaurant was underwhelming, and overrated, the food lacked due to the cook rationing toppings on the salads, one slice of avocado, and an almost non-existing portion of almonds and cheese, both salads, one full and one half salad, same amount of toppings. And the cook completely disregarding ingredients on the beyond me burger...there were no onion strings, or goat cheese, and when I asked for these items to complete the burger, it took the waitress forever to get it. She also ignore our request for a refill on strawberry lemonade, stating she was told there were no free refills, so she has to charge for another lemonade. The waitress was horrible, she was very unattentive, and had to be called multiple times to the table, because she never came to check on us. She just didn't care, and that was disturbing. The only thing good about this restaurant was the sweet potato fries appetizer, but other than that, the cook skimped on the salads, and did not properly prepare the burger. The restaurant acted very carelessly, and cheap, for what their dishes cost. I took a minute to discuss all of this with the manager, and he tried to justify the poor food preparation from the cook, and the poor service from the waitress...but really how could he? Needless to say, I did not tip, I left a long note on the ticket why, and the manager removed the beyond me burger...
