Extremely poor management service and food quality! My family loves Canes and eats there very often. Every time we have been blown away by the food quality. Needless to say, this was not the case at the Westport Road Louisville KY location. This was the first time we had been at this location. The service was adequate, the food was far below Canes standards, and the management staff was uncompromising. I ordered a 25 piece meal and was disappointed by the results. All were either very small, over cooked, or mostly breading. When I went back to request a new batch, one was made. To my surprise, the batch was even worse than the first one. All were smaller than the smallest piece in the first batch. When confronting the manager about the situation, he was unhelpful and unwilling to fix the situation. He said that these were the "average" new product because they changed their chicken product. If these tenders that we got are now the Canes average, then the quality of the companies product has decreased significantly. The only thing that he would do to fix the situation was to tell me that this food was their product now and to agree when I said I wanted my money back. I would let you know who he was but he was not wearing a name tag. Unprofessional. Very disappointed with this Canes location. I will be visiting a different one soon to see if this garbage chicken is now the new product. Hopefully this experience and product will only be at the Westport location because we really love Canes and want their high quality product again...
Read moreFirst time coming here for lunch. I got the 3-Finger meal..comes with Fries, Texas Toast, 3 chicken fingers, Cane sauce. I thought there were lots of sauces to pick from and you choose your own sauce, but I wasn't given a choice, this is how the meal comes. But I guess it's best to try their sauce first, since this is my first time eating here. Food was hot and fresh. Drink is kinda small, the cup is really narrow. Crinkle cut fries were hot and had a fresh flavor. Chicken fingers were fried perfectly. They were crunchy but not so crunchy that it feels rough on your tongue. Chicken was very moist and fresh and hot. Three chicken fingers is plenty of food. I could really taste the seasoning salt on the chicken fingers. The dipping sauce was kind of a bland orange color like thousand island dressing with spices in it. The drive-thru is very narrow, and be careful when exiting the drive-thru because cars come up on the passenger side of your car, turning in your direction to get around the building to the parking lot or drive-thru lane. There's a lot of traffic in this compact area, There's Jets pizza and China Cafe right next door. After exiting the drive -thru you are right across the road from Chik-Fil-A, so you have to turn right onto Westport Rd. Or you can circle around the building again and exit behind the restaurant, there's a Thorntons gas station right on the corner. Maybe you can swing in there for a big Slush if you don't want the small drink from...
Read moreFood was decent but the service was a bit immature. I understand that the staff is young but they should be trained or disciplined a bit better to accommodate customers with simple common courtesy when working in a fast food place. I mean it's a chicken finger and french fry spot, so offering simple things like condiments in the drive thru like sauces, ketchup as well as smiling when interacting with guests can go a long way. Also, informing guests that they are being charged for simple condiments would be a plus as well. So by now, sure the person reading this review can see that I was not offered and sauces or ketchup which isn't a huge deal. But when I asked, they did indeed add the sauce of choice to my bag but did not make me aware that I was being charged for it. When I asked for an additional sauce for my second order, they then informed me that there is a charge for the sauce. I asked if they charged me for the first sauce and they said yes. No big deal but sometimes, explaining things like that can go a long way in customer service. Not in 100 years would I have thought that I would be charged for a small honey mustard cup. Let alone, the employee give me a dry attitude when I asked for an additional condiment and asked how much are the condiments and why I was charged. Other than that, the food was...
