I am writing to bring to your attention a deeply unsatisfactory experience I encountered at one of your locations on Wed, Nov 8th, around 1:55 am.
After a prolonged 6-hour stay at Norton Medical Center with my husband, who is currently suffering from symptoms of Congestive Heart Failure, I visited your drive-thru to place an order. Regrettably, the encounter with your staff member was far from satisfactory.
The young lady operating the drive-thru speaker began by loudly exclaiming, "HOW YOU DOING?" Despite my weariness and hunger, I responded politely. However, the situation took a turn for the worse when I attempted to place my order for 3 cheeseburgers. The she misunderstood, treating it as a question and displayed a concerning lack of professionalism.
Despite correcting the misunderstanding and expressing my request for 3 cheeseburgers and a small fry, the employee persisted in questioning my order, mistakenly assuming my gender and even laughing off the error. This behavior was not only disrespectful but also unbecoming of the standard of service one would expect from your establishment.
To add to my dismay, the same employee repeated the same inappropriate inquiry about the gender of the person in the car behind me when they reached the VERY LOUD speaker. This demonstrated a clear pattern of unprofessional conduct.
I feel compelled to share that my subsequent visit to a White Castle on Broadway (7th street) was markedly different, with a seamless ordering process and courteous service.
In an effort to address this issue constructively, I have attached a picture of the employee in question, and I kindly request that you investigate this matter thoroughly. Such behavior tarnishes the reputation of your brand, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to ensure a more professional and respectful environment at your...
Read moreLast night my sisters and I went out to have a great night that ended terribly once we went to White Castles located on Market in Downtown Louisville, Ky. A guy was sitting at the table (minding his own business) waiting for his bus that would not arrive until 5:30 that morning. A female police officer told him to leave since he had been there since 1:00 that morning. He asked her why and told her the manager told him he could wait there since he got off work at midnight and the bus didn’t come for a few hours. The male officer told him he could only stay in the establishment if he was eating. The female officer humiliated him in front of everyone, being extremely loud about everything. It broke my heart and I lost my appetite. He went outside to wait for a few more hours for his bus to come. My sister went out after him and talked about his job, asked him if he was hungry, etc… She brought him back in to eat something so he could wait inside. The female officer made him leave with the threat of arrest even though the male officer told him he could sit in there if he ate. As my sister ordered food for him, one of the workers asked why the female officer made him leave. We left after seeing more unprofessional conduct by this female officer. My sister told the officers that she defended them in certain scenarios, but now she understands why no one likes them. The officer followed my sister out saying that they were doing their job by keeping bums out. We asked for her badge number and she lied and gave us a fake. Officer C. Smith, you degraded a young man who was given permission to sit in this establishment and wait for his bus. You are extremely unprofessional and disrespectful and do not deserve to have a job that is meant to “protect and uphold”. Veggie sliders are awesome. The police officers ruined the...
Read moreThe sliders are good, as expected and required. The employees and service are NOT good. I normally give four or five stars at restaurants that are good and where the service is good, but not this one. Go somewhere else if you have a choice. Employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. I do not have white castle where I live, so I am not familiar with how they're ordering works, and when I asked a couple of questions they looked at me like I was stupid, and gave a response that did not answer the question. I asked the same question two more times in different ways and they still did not respond with anything that answered my question. So I gave up. I left this restaurant feeling very frustrated. That all happened this morning. I went back again for dinner only because it is convenient to where I am staying and they are open 24 hours. I was trying to figure out how many sliders to order. I do not know how many of these equates to a regular quarter pound hamburger. So I asked how many ounces of meat was on one slider. Nobody in the restaurant had any idea how much meat is on one slider. They did show me a slider so I can see that the meat is paper-thin, but there was an attitude about the whole dialogue that was unpleasant. So the same thing happened again with the same unfriendly and unhelpful service from the night crew. So it is not one or two people at this place that treat customers this way, it is at least two thirds of them since I have the same experience from two different shifts. Why would the third shift to be any different? Go somewhere else if you...
